I honestly think their are special interests that led to this war. I also think that war is unjust and very cruel. BUT, thats the way things are, for thousands of years wars have been waged for the same reasons. And they HAVE been much bloodier. Truth of the matter is that extrimist DO exist and are a DANGER to EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. All these liberals have the right to voice their opinions but they have no common sense or sense of patriotisim.

Hey M.F. Americans do have a good idea what war is about. We are not the MOST powerful military force the planet has ever seen because of our manners. Your an idiot! Most all Americans love a good fight, and we can overpower about anything on this planet, when given the chance. The only reason that whole mid-east region is not a sheet of glass is because of the USA's compassion for human life. Check yourself buddy I don't think YOU really understand....

I thoughe movies was fair entertainment, not really a message movie. I remember a similar movie with Sean Connery in playing a military Police investigator. Similarities exist. It is after all entertainment. It does not reach citizen kane type messages.

Platoon, written by Oliver Stone (Vietnam vet). The war movies today written by narcissistic Hollywood types that have no concept of war. I think you have to have perspective not your own political agenda to make a good war movie.

This elitist failed in his movie. So now he claims that the public wasn't ready for his "art". The movie just wasn't that good. Sorry; it's not that cutting edge or powerful....it was just mediocre stuff. If you "need" to send a message, call Western Union.
Entertainment people are so self-important, they really think that the world "needs to hear" what they think.

All artists want the world to know what they think. Some use words, photos, or films. Some artists are just more vocal than others.
