I love the look Dani gives Cort when she first meets him in the front lawn. It's like "now you're stuck with me weather you like it or not." The writing in this movie wasn't as good as the acting. Some of the initial lines between the sisters in the beginning were very weak. But it picked up. Reese stole this movie as she would in Walk The Line.

I was wondering if there was some way you could dig up Reese's other great performance of that year, the made-for-Lifetime TV movie "Wildflower". She was more a supporting character in that one, which was also set in roughly the same time and place. Patricia Arquette blew the doors off as a deaf girl kept locked in a shed by her sadistic stepfather. Reese plays part of a brother/sister duo who discover her and help her blossom. Equally atmospheric and dreamy with erotic undertones.

@jminnesota Its a stunt woman who jumps into the lake naked. She is clearly taller than Reese, and they only show her from behind (not the face). As well, Reese could hurt herself in a jump like that. preventing the finishing of the film. As soon as the stunt woman comes out of the water there is a quick cut to a close-up of Reese already in the lake. It is Hollywood editting that makes you belive it was Reese the whole time.
