  • Where is it located

  • can you bike there?

  • dose it allow scooters

  • i just went there today and its epic! and i finally can ollie over my friends board fun, fun, fun!

  • im moveing 2 penncilvany

  • where is this at in lancaster ?

  • near the park about 12 minuts from the burger king at the plaza...

  • @keithskater it's near the little kid day care on queen like right up the street from the cemetery and turn when you see a bridge and go straight and then turn left and go fully straight until you are on the other side and turn right and then left

  • i basically like this park for the full pipe and the bowls, i do ALOT of bowl and pool sk8ing, my favorite sk8er is DP(Duane Peters) so this park really apeals to me, im going to it on wensday, and you only have 2 wear a helmet, rite? it says full pads, but alot of people told me its really just helmets that are needed, or mandatory anyway.

  • no street? wtf

  • i go to this park every day and i have to say for whats around its a good park

  • i go here alot, the transitions do suck and its very sketchy. its fun but its a shit park.

  • i went da cuh, so uniqueish

  • Is this guy kidding? This is one of the worst skateparks I've ever skated. The transitions are uneven everywhere, whoever built this were NOT skatepark builders. Don't waste your time going here, you'll be disappointed, I was...

  • @daleks75:

Not having seen the local scene, I was never witness to this frustration. BUT , not being a local, and having seen many different types of parks in the country, I can add that the park is what you make of it.

I have seen quite a bit of innovation by locals at parks where the environment was considered substandard or the design was not on par with parks with better flow.

Thanks for the comments... additional input is valuable to really give more substance to the reviews.

  • yah, the company who made it makes sidewalks, and this is the only sk8 park they've ever done.

  • lol sidewalk builders created it

  • @daleks75 i completley agree. overlook is much better

  • @daleks75 I agree and all, but skaters always need a challenge. The tranny here might be as uneven as your mom's back flab, but it's as fun as hell.

  • @youyouhl:

While it may not be the best, and is not really a street park, you have to make the most out of whats around. It's somewhat isolated, and better than nothing for the local skaters.

  • the transitions aren't the best at lancaster and the coping is pretty sketchy, but it's a fun place to screw around in and have a fun session

Just one thing I don't agree with, the curb/benches are "grindable" (is that a word?). I've seen full length nose grinds, slides, smiths, etc.

Also, if you use the hill leading down to the park you can get some mad speed for the snake run and that's always fun

  • Thanks for the additional comments.

Curbs are grindable, just need more speed from the asphalt to the concrete. Never got to check the local scene , as the park was locked the afternoon before.

  • never stopped me from jumping the fence=]
