  • And I hope I don't go through all that just so they can tell me that they don't have any spots open.

  • @AdamMcneil92 They have a lot of intake for infantry, more than any other job in fact. Just make sure you do your best in all of your jobs to get pushed in front of everyone in the que.

  • I'm aiming for the infantry. What about you?

  • @AdamMcneil92 Same. What regiment are you thinking of?

  • @JayBounty I'm intrested in the paratroopers. But I think I'll have a better idea once I start the whole process.

  • @AdamMcneil92 That's a good choice, but you need to be REALLY fit for that

  • how did it go? I'm planning on joining too.

  • @AdamMcneil92 I got 70 on my BARB and have my pre-adsc tomorrow. Also if you're planning on it, apply right now, it's like a 9 month recruitment process so you may as well apply now as you can drop out at any time. Good luck. :)

  • @JayBounty You mean it takes 9 months to get to basic training?

Also can you give me a rundown of the process because some people say it takes long, others say you can get there right away.

  • @AdamMcneil92 Yeah on average, it could be quicker or longer. - Apply - Barb test - Medical history forms - Any criminal stuff sorted - Pre- adsc - Interview 1 -interview 2 - Adsc -Interview 3 - Job offer - Job acceptance - Being phase 1 training once you have joined a regiment - Phase 2 training - Officially a private of the british army. Hope that helps and good luck

  • Go for it soldier i hope u and ur son get to know eachother

  • @DemonicWeapons I want to become an armourer also! Lol I

  • The one thing I'm worried of is joining and then not having a war to fight?! I know something else will start soon; Syria or Iran....But it's still worrying me...I don't want to join, do all my training just to end up sitting around in camp doing jack all....I dunno....Still going to join though! :D Also can I ask what bike you've got? I'm taking my CBT on monday 27th!

  • The army sounds like a good shout for you. After training I think you have to do a min of 4 years so it's a pretty big commitment. I'm currently planning on joining the army after my college course, not sure what I want to do in the army but I'm considering going REME so I can get a trade, but there are soo many options it's hard to decide. Go for it, you can always quit during training if for you

  • @762BattleRifle I've applied since this video, got my BARB test on the 1st of feb. And yeah, I realise 4 years is a long commitment, but I really do think I can do it :) and yeah that sounds like a good plan, good luck if you go for it :)

  • @762BattleRifle What role are you thinking of doing in REME? I'm looking at joining after 6th Form in 2013 and going into REME as an Armourer! :D Great trade if you want to get qualifications afterwards!

  • i totally agree with you !!!

  • @SUNSET7900 Hey, which part do you agree with? :)

  • Jay your a good lad if the army is the choice for you, Go for it. :D

i never knew how bad you felt. I'm so sorry, i do remember that you were there for me when i needed someone and you literally saved my life aswell. I've never forgotten that ok so i'm here if you need me. :) x

  • @joleeene15 Aww Jo, I didn't realise you knew my YT channel... awks haha. and aww, I'm still always here for you :) and thanks, it means a lot, I'm glad I have a true friend like you :) x

  • I think going in to the army sounds like it's the best plan i mean you may have a problem being around people but the only way to get rid of something like that is to be around people and the one main problem i see is that if you join the army and deploy that takes away from time you can spend with your son

  • @jacobc258 Hey! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video! Yeahh, I did think about being able to get over my social anxiety problem if I just go for it. And the thing is, I don't get to see him fullstop, she's even got a boyfriend now so she literally doesn't even answer me anymore, it's a hard choice, but I was up all night thinking and I think I'm gonna just go for it, it'll be the best thing for me I believe, but I guess we'll see. Thanks for the sensible input :)
