  • this is weak compared to beatles--his voice is to weak--even the distortion sounds likesum garage band shit --did they sample the guitar

  • fantastic cover

  • It's good but it's pretty much the same as the original. Still one of my favourite bands though, Autolux.

  • The Beatles and Autolux are two of my favorite bands! :) i remember Transit Transit reminded me a lot of the Beatles when i first heard it. both versions are great!

  • Beatles are brain washed SHIT! dirty made up fake hippies, to reach the real hippies, hahaha and it worked.

  • @C0RPSI hippies are shit nowadays oh wait there hipsters now. they used to kinda have a clue but now the don't have the foggiest

  • @mguygh they all just want to sit innthe gras and smoke weed lol how is anything productive going to happen?:)

  • This is the best cover I've ever heard! And if your attention span is longer than 2:00 minutes long, he does start to sing it similar to the original. Either way this song rocks it like a hurricane!

  • dig it!

  • I would actually have preferred if they changed up the instrumentals along with the vocals for this song is more shoegaze manner. Still like it; but I'll admit to my greatest heresy, I do not particularly think the Beatles are a musical gold standard that no one can compare to. This song sounds better done by Autolux.

  • aww this is fucking sweet

  • The whole point of doing a cover (right) is to do the song in YOUR style. If they did the vocals just like the Beatles did them then they'd be just another cover band. But instead they threw their style into the mix and made an amazing version of this song. Vocals are AWESOME in this version. It's too bad so many can't see the art in this song.

  • I like Autolux but.... don't cover a Beatles song if you can't grasp Macca's emotion.

  • @penaltyformisuse Um...now I question if you've really listened to Autolux before and truly enjoy them. That is part of their sound, the utter apathy. Doing a cover is taking a song and redoing it in your style. That is THEIR style.

  • weird, i was just thinking Autolux reminded me of the Beatles for some reason I can't seem to place, this is awesome

  • this, my friends, is what the experts call "owning the shit out of it".

  • The instrumentation is excellent (especially the bass). However, I don't think that the vocals suit this song very well.

  • This is fucking awesome! I had no idea they released a Beatles cover. weird

I hate to say this, but please no more covers AUTOLUX, your too good at being Original.

  • nice but i still prefer the original lol audience no. 2 rules

  • wow! this is really cool. thanks for posting.

  • i just found out this existed. Stupid me, i should have discovered it earlier.

  • big autolux fan but i dont like this. dont kill me!

  • @bicpenusa

    ROOARR BEWAARREE THE NIIGHTTTT

  • @bicpenusa He could have done better vocals, but I guess he wanted to keep his shoegaze/indie singing style to make the cover a little different than the original.

  • @dark117 yea i understand why they did it the way they did, but it really doesnt work for this song

  • is it Greg's voice that is singing? sounds like it.

  • awesome cover.

  • No offense intended to The Beatles, or any of their fans.

But I like this more than the original.

  • WHAT A LONELY SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • would not have pegged them to do such a cover! interesting...

  • AWESOME! totally digged it.

"i got blisters on my fingers!!!"

  • dig

  • wow, didn't know about this, thanks for putting it up :)

  • where did you find this gem?

  • It's a b-side on the Audience No. 2 single.
