They weren't as good to me as they made it seem like they were. In there intro they seemed really cocky, like they were the best but they didn't match up to it. I do think they should of stay longer than on the rocks though.

i'm sure this group is much more talented than the what they got to show. song choice was their undoing. producers/editing already made them appear cocky in intro. although intended to be kitchy fun, this song only reinforced an arrogant first impression to the masses. retrospect, probably better strategy to play against their looks, open with a tune that showcased more musicianship and let image subtly speak for itself. When attractive ppl start flaunting it, it becomes ugly.

I think this whole performance just smells like Berklee Arrogance but what is not pallatable is the fact they were trilling there mouth during the chorus. The hair flip at :51 was more fit for Willow Smiths- Whip My Hair. Also, half of the song was more rythmic chanting then vocalism

The judges cause to vote them off was a lack of dynamics and singing as a group. I will say they are AMAZING musicians. The leads were awesome, and great creativity break in the middle. But there was only one dynamic the entire song where there were basic places where the background vocals needed to sing together. Making your pianos piano really makes your fortissimos fortissimo. Second, I believe the show was appealing to HS audiences with this move. Music isn't only for Berklee.

I agree @ vocalsplendor 's comment. This is a classic case of Hairography. They were very hott, very marketable and stylish and the choreography was great, however they were a little "pitchy" and inconsistent. I still feel they should have advanced to the second round and those High School kids should have been eliminated first!

I'm sorry, but that's for people who can't sing! It's the "let's distract them cuz we're hot" strategy. @jho852 Ben Folds' blog gave me an answer. Perhaps there is a bit of "hairography" goin' on, or "Vegas" as Ben put it, but I still love this! Granted, I'm far from a music expert. Ben voted these guys as least likely to improve and the high school kids as most likely to improve. he did say how hard it is to decide that and send someone home on night 1. they gave eleventh hour a pass on night 1 and eliminated them on night 2. you never know what someone will do when given a second chance.

I disagree that they should have beaten Jerry Lawson or the Whiffenpoofs (they rocked first week), but I was upset when Pitch Slapped was eliminated because they were definitely stronger than Eleventh Hour. I think it was close with the judges between PS and EH and they held PS to a higher standard because they're from Berklee and decided to give the high schoolers a pass.

The lead girl is hot, the guy looks like timberlake, It would've been nice to keep them in, but the only problem was i couldnt hear anyone else in the group except for about 4-5 people. The two leads, the blonde, the other brunette, and the beatboxer. The other guys were too faded in the background. I was entertained, but it's a group effort guys. Maybe next time :)
