@lifesucksallways I taught this topic today and the kids have been looking forward to this song all year long. They didn't sing along the first time, but the second time they did. "WHERE?" It was awesome. Glad it helped you out. Good luck!
I could hardly sleep last night becayse this song was stuck in my head.. now it's time to put it to work.. i'm going to go take my regents exam now.. wish me luck :)
we start at the anode, electrons are lost there, and go through the wire, and through the load on fire, they enter the cathode, and reduce the cations, and the anions go through the salt bridge back to wherrrre
is what it took to be able to sing those 18 seconds without the music
I started looking up your videos last year because my chemistry teacher showed us one. I'm not even in chemistry this year and I still LOVE your videos!
this is an amazing video. im currently in AP chem (11th grade). last year my Honors chem teacher, which is a different class btw... showed us this video... and i havent forgotten it in over a year. SO HELPFUL. catchy tune... easy to memorize. thanks markrosengarten

I adapted the tune from "We open in Venice", yes. When I saw the play, I knew I had to adapt that tune to make a song about how batteries work! :)

You have go to make a chemistry song from Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.
