It's funny. At the beginning of the clip the interviewer seems really cocky, and Kevin Shields seems sort of uncomfortable. But by the end of the clip, the interviewer has lost all control over the conversation. He seems almost defensive, or perhaps distracted by his own idiocy. He's struggling to come up with things to say that aren't stupid. Kevin Shields, by contrast, seems to be more confident.

But by the end of the clip, the interviewer has lost all control over the conversation. He seems almost defensive, or perhaps distracted by his own idiocy. He's struggling to come up with things to say that aren't stupid. Kevin Shields, by contrast, seems to be more confident.

i find it incredibly interesting how all the negative comments to the host of soft focus were on this kevin shields interveiw. i am an MBV fan like anyone else, but i am not going to erect a shrine to someone who is just a fucking MAN. listen to the interveiw you fuckwads. he says somewhere that his limitations make him unique, not his expansiveness. get it? kevin sheilds is in the act of self deprcation, and you lift him up to urealistic god status. grow the fuck up.
