I been in action in with Americans soldiers and other nations on two occations. And there it was always the Americans got in trouble...the reason was easy. It also means the vehicle can keep moving constantly, not once in this video does the vehicle stop rolling not allowing insurgents any time to rig a trap or any other threat to U.S lives

You don't understand the nature of ambushes. it could have been a deliberate accident on the cars part. meaning..they get in the way of the column and get it to stop. then when the soldiers get out..an ambush breaks out and the soldier are attacked and killed.
