big hook isn't always better it can get u into a lot of trouble. i just bought the storm virtual gravity and it is a great ball. its very agressive in the backend but it starts rolling in the midlane. and ball that can read the midlane and have continuation thru the backend is the best ball in my opinion. i say the virtual gravity
I just got the Hammer Jigsaw Trap. And it is a very aggressive ball. I recommend it if your looking for a strong finish in the back end. Im a Hammer guy, and your obviously a Storm guy. But its not a bad thing to go out of your shell and get a Hammer.
I have a spitfire and a secret agent . both are great, however i find the spitfire very condition specific. when its right it will hook consistently and not lose energy. the secret agent is not so fussy on the condition, however it does not have huge hooking potential, its a down and in ball. although when it hits it hits harder than any other ball i have ever used. its like a freight train. Its not jst about hooking motion, its about consistency of hook and hitting power aswell.
the spit fire does not hook the most and actually all the bowling balls your showed hook a loy its just the way you throw it and the way you drill it so any of those balls would be good except for the morich because morich sucks ass and storm is the best
The AMF Mega Friction is one of the most aggressive balls on the market. It come with a warning, This Ball Hooks! The are not lying! Great ball for Strokers rollin down and in on heavy oil.
I'd go with the 'Nsane LevRG because I have one. I'd go with it because if you're a hook bowler this is the ball for you I have major hook with this ball. I have gotten several 300 games with my 'Nsane LevRG. And if you're not a hook bowler if you can just throw it without trying to hook it if you're aiming just right there's a
Even though you may have chosen a ball already, anything like the Cell or Rapid Fire will definitely have a length and a strong reaction. But, think about the oil patterns too, since you could get a high volume/heavy oil ball that is perfect on wet lanes, when you use it on a dry lane you will have to move right to hit the pocket consistently. Good luck with your decision.
Im sure you have already found a ball, but if you are still looking for one that hooks a ton, get a Storm Virtual Gravity, drill it really aggressive, and put it at a 2000 surface. it gets down lane and makes an absolute left turn!!! I love mine
yh the cell sucks :S are yous fuking kidding me, i had a 300 with a cell and it was box finish, iv had mine for nearly 10 months and it isnt dead, it is still in good condition, yous just clearly dont know how to take care of a ball
Everyone is saying Cell!!! But Cell dies after a while even when u try to take care of it!!!! Plus why is everyone going after one ball!! Find your own style, don't ask other ppl for help, you need to find out what your style is and research it!!!!
That's why it won ball of the year? I respect your opinion, though. I know a couple people who disliked the cell as well. I personally loved it but I kind of made it cater to my needs. I had to drill it with a long pin and a little polish, but it worked fantastically. You can't expect an OTB ball to do exactly what you want.
take some lessons and then see what kind of ball your coach recommends for YOU. You may not have enough hand to throw a big hook. Or too much speed and not enough revs. Tell a coach what you want to do THEN get a ball that will help you accomplish what you want.
it depends on what kind of hook you want. if you want strong back end the go with storm, but also the dimension(storm) does more in the middle lane. but if you want sharp back end then go with a virtual ggravity. also the mega friction is a VERY stong ball. out of bow, it is really dull.
hook isnt everything....some of the best bowlers i know dont hook it more that a couple boards.if you go into a proshop looking for the ball that hooks the most then you dont know what your doing
Roto grip cell and Morich N'sane LevRG hook the most, Rapid Fire and Spit Fire hook the lowest and the Double Agent is in between but if it helps i Have the Special Agent and it has good back end and hits like a mack truck
pay shipping and i will GIVE you my storm double agent. lol
stay away from mo rich stuff, not for the fact there bad balls, but reason being, if there not drilled to perfection / thrown to perfection, expect a wabbly reaction.
you want hook, you need to get your hands on the cell or virtual gravity.
Depending on the money you want to spend, the storm virtual gravity is the biggest hooking ball on the market right now. When you are getting it drilled make sure you tell them you want it to go early with the most backend reaction. Basically the strongest layout possible for your hand.
get a roto grip cell pearl. it hooks more than the spitfire and is more versitile on other lanes. roto grip is owned by storm, and they are both the best companies for all bowling balls
Go with the Cell or Cell Pearl. If you must go Storm, the Jolt line is pretty good, as is the Special Agent. Make sure you verify hook potential for the weight you throw. I almost bought a Hammer Anger but for some reason the hook potential in 14lb sucked.
I agree with guffnuh. spitfire's a good ball, but probably not the first out of a bag. I would also stay away from morich as I have NEVER had any luck with them. I would recommend looking into a Hammer venom, awesome ball, the cell, or the arch rival by columbia 300. It really boils down to what you want in a ball and what you want to spend. Good low budget but great performance ball is the hammer cherry vibe

Cell, no question. Spitfire, Rapid Fire, Double Agent, LevRG r all good balls but the Cell is the best out of them.

i am a certified bowling ball driller and the cell hooks most but i recommend the rapid fire because it has length with a strong arcing back end
