really cool movie, we get to sympathize with a very complex animal as a main character maybe for the first time in history. actually makes us think about our entire relationship with animals, specially lab specimens.

Also, i liked how throughout the film ceaser became more human and yet animalistic. E.g. when he begins to stand on two legs and eventually talks... my favourite par was definately

I'm a huge fan of the Planet of the Apes series. I love all five original movies and I absolutely loved Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I would give it five out of five stars.

Man I don't know about you but I hate CGI, unless it's for a movies like Toy Story alikes, but for actual acted out movies? Back then, you used to be like "wow, how did they make that look so real?" as opposed to nowadays, you KNOW it's just drawn on a computer program already, cinema has lost it's spark. :(

@nwolwo I think this is going to be the cause of why humans will not leave the apes alone. Science is always going to go back to the origin to find a cure. They are going to want to research their ..........immune system and why they are resistant to the outbreak and you know our apes won't have that. I am so funny, I really don't know but I am guessing.

Let me first say i love your slogan at the end. I really loved this movie until the last 5 minutes. I feel like they cheaped out on the ending and they couldve come up with somthing that made my mouth drop but they didnt. overall i give it 4 1/2 out of 5

TinTin is next because Jackson and Spielberg are familar with Zemeckis's efforts and they knew they failed but they aren't gonna repeat that with TinTin as they showed in the trailer that the eyes on the 2 brothers moved and blinked without looking zombie-like and they look like none of the actors playing them, it's safer to bring a cartoon character to life without being actor-like on the look and when the product is finished it will make comic characters believable without dead eyes

@LPmotion This movie is called a pre-boot ---a prequel and reboot /origin story to the original 1968-1973 movie series---it has nothing to do with the Tim Burton film. Due to the negative critical and fan response to Burton's film, they decided to make this one as kind of an apology to fans of the original films. This one has a lot of allusions to the original series. For instance, some characters in the new film are named after people from the original series.

The film isn't out in Denmark yet but I'm sure they'll get it in a month or two. And I was going to see it no matter what because I love Planet of the Apes but your review just made me ten times more excited :D! You seemed very genuine when talking about it and from what I've seen in the trailers the special effects truly are mindblowing.
