  • @OnaDemGz they all do.

  • What is the base line sampled from, anyone know?

  • @smhillis the bassline is sampled from a song called "Spinning Wheel" by The Moog Machine. Search it, the song is here.

  • @2S2BMachinima

    THANK YOU!

  • @Muthaphuckka Correction, "Spinning Wheel" by Blood, Sweat, and Tears.

Moog Machine "covered" their song. Same thing though, you'll find the similarities in both.

  • @2S2BMachinima

i see. Thanks a lot for helping out !

  • @2S2BMachinima Good job, Dre's version sounds better to me though, maybe cause of the bass.

  • @2S2BMachinima WRONG!!!!!!!! that's 'what goes up must come down'. i thought that also bro. it came from a song called 'Alright............( i forget the rest). i hear it on the radio all the time. i think soft rock or pop.

  • Fire

  • j flexxx hooked 'em up with the vers from california love..peace

  • Is that you suge?

  • Clearly written by Snoop. It's well known that Dre only writes SOME of his raps. I can't remember if there were more than 2 songs Dre wrote for himself on Chronic 2001. I know he wrote "The Message", but I can't remember what else.

Personally, I don't care... I like his production the most. Ghost writing for Dre goes back to N.W.A.

Ice Cube, Ren, And D.O.C. all wrote for Dre. Shit, Cube even wrote for Eazy-E. It's super old, I don't know why people act like it's new info.

  • I didn't think pjeople cared that much whether a producer writes his own raps or not,he's not a rapper he's a producer who raps

  • Well even if you're a producer, rapping still requires creativity, so it does matter... but only o a certain extent. Like, the BEST producers could have ghost writers, and not many will care... but a mediocre producer better write himself. Lol... that's just how it is.

If I ever make it in the industry, I don't know how good people will see me as a producer, but whether one of the best or just other producer from around the corner, I will always write my own rhymes. No disrespect to Dre though.

  • damn, i remember when i first time heard this joint it was in 1997, shiiit

    OLD IS GOLD BABY

  • Lets get a down load link

  • This is why he has had great lyricist write his lyrics all these years. Hey he delivers the raps good, but thank RBX, D.O.C., Ice Cube, Snoop, Eminem, even Jay-z for his rhymes through the years.....no disrepect, I love Dre...he just doen't write his own shit cuz well...hes not so good at that.

  • why diss this guys hes only spittin the truth snoop and doc and rbx wrote most of the lyrics for the chronic

  • no hes just busy giving away all hot beats he makes the world wants

cuz they know he makes the best beats

  • Dr. Dre sounds like he's fucking drunk and actually high off Chronic XD

thx to him old skkol west coast gangsta rap won't die lol.

  • dre is a baby gangsta, FAKE g

  • and who gives a fuck? don't talk about things you don't know anything about, I guess you knew him then since you think know it. or maybe you're just a Eazy dickrider, i love them both, fuck what u heard, they made amends before he died

  • wats that shit in up in smoke with snoop and dre shooting up them gang bangers in the take away shop. fake shit.

  • Man, that's just entertainment. Do you think they actually expected us to take that shit seriously. If that is "fake shit" than every shoot'em up action movie ever made is "fake shit"

  • He's more real than all these fake ass rappers today!!!

  • noo dre was never a G

only way hee keeps his street cred is he was down wit NWA

  • So if you think NWA was real, then how are they gonna' let Dre hang with them if he wasn't legit. Now I know Dre stretched his "G" image, but that was just his ego. Do you live in Compton?! No? Then you can't speak. Rather he was "G" or not, he still had to live in a hell hole, and I'm sure had seen many things you or I will never see. What the hell, we talk like we know him.

  • Props on this one fam!

  • nm foud it :p

  • Gangstaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • good shit :D

  • this looks like the same time as gin and juice, this would have been a #1 hit for sure this song is dope. why is it unrelesed are they morons

  • Well the lyrics are kind of dumb and the vocals aren't the best quality but I agree about the beat being amazing! So people would probably laugh at it like E-40 u and dat. and it would have stood out to much.

  • This songs off tha hook! it should of been on the chronic

  • Eazy E the godfather of rap ha RIP

  • Eazy wasnt the godfather of rap...

  • no but he was the god father of GANGSTA RAP

  • some tight ass classic shit. Chronic and doggystyle and GRODT all classics that you must have if you like hiphop.

  • dont ever put GRODT in the same category as Chronic & Doggystyle. It's a good album, but not even close to the other 2
