I did imagine this when I was 17, at the Denver Coliseum on April 22, 1975 on the "Wish You Were Here Tour". One of my best all time concerts that I have seen over my 51 years of age.

I'm convinced that the only people who listen to this crap are college students who believe they SHOULD like it to be cool right next to Bob Marley and the like. Roger always made crap music for people who do drugs who are always losers to begin with.
This from a thirty year old man who listens to Marilon Manson and Prodigy. I doubt very much you have the slightest familiarity with Roger's music, and reading the comments in you profile, it sounds like you're a Bible-thumping war-lover with a boner for the Bush administration.
i saw roger waters play the same set in houston 4 days ago. which i will say that i would have loved to see pink floyd, but the musicians playing with roger waters definatly pulled it off. roger is definatly one of the best musicians alive today.
I've never seen Floyd with out Waters or Waters with out Floyd...but this seems like this is about as close as you're gonna get to the real thing...even though Floyd currently has more original memebers this somehow has more soul..? To me Waters is Floyd! I wonder which one Sid would like..?
waters tends to play songs he wrote, while pink floyd plays it all, i saw waters in 06 or 07 and iv seen a few live recordings, my favorite by far is pulse, the set is similar to that of waters, but not as much wall action (syd actualy only "wrote" comfortably numb on that movie/play/album, read the insert for "is there anybody out there?" its the wall live (from the 29 plays they did) they talk about how the wall was kinda waters' solo album. also roger lip syncs, while pink floyd does not.
I agree w u as 2 Graham's great percussion ability & technicality. The right feel for any 'PF' song can only be fulfilled by all 4 members who created the songs. Wish they will all get 2gether someday...
This is my all time fav. song from 'Dark Side'. IMHO 'D.G' guitar solo on this song is one of all time best guitar solo's. This Guy ain't 'DG' but he surely played that solo to perfection. Gr8 Guitarist. Who is He?
Dave Kilminster on lead guitar and Snowy White on rhythm guitar on this song. Met Dave at a cd signing in NYC last year. Real nice guy, and great guitar player.
THANK YOU EYENECKHOLE! For sending me this Clip of TIME. What a great reminder of how AWESOME Roger Waters was at Coachella 2008, and this happens to be my favorite all time song to test my speakers on! And I thank the person who put this on You Tube! Rock On!
Nice clip. If you like the Roger Waters/Pink Floyd stuff, check out some of my clips. I got a ton of stuff from his tour last year. One of the best tours that I have ever seen.
"Thats my pig, hes a big mean pig isnt he? F**k Off pig." I still wish the floyd would reunite though.. it would be great to see them live one or five thousand more times.
David sings this song, not Roger. It's obvious, seeing as how the other guy has to come in and sing, because Roger doesn't even know the words.

That is such a beautiful guitar.

Who is singing Richard's part?
fcernig33 2 years ago
That would be Jon Carin... how has also played with Pink Floyd along side Rick Wright... Jon is brilliant... but I really miss Richard

This from a Marylin Manson fan...a blatant Alice Cooper rip off.
As Alice himself said-"he wears make up and has a girl's name. How original".

Syd didn't write Comfortably Numb as
b1llygoat suggests - Dave Gilmour wrote the music and Roger Waters the words-

sry, i got syd and gilmore mixed up, my bad. it is the only thing that he wrote on it tho

Cool mini- rototom kit on the intro there. What can ya say, f'n Roger Waters as always.
JimXvr 3 years ago
what was with the roto-tom intro?! i thought he got a bit over enthusiastic.. nothing like the original.
Rogers pre-recorded voice sounded good too but how could a pre-recorded voice NOT sound good really.. I think Rogs voice suits Time.

excuse him, he must be an artist or something

perhaps he was on methamphetamines! hehe. no no, it was just more-is-less for me is all..
Graham Broad (the drummer dude) has always had great technicality, but just not the right feel for Floyd songs i feel.
but i'm sure on the day it all sounded "cool" though :D
