  • Hi there, this is Barry Roskin Blake, I think I shot this back in 92. I will try and get the exact day of the interview and get back to you. What I can tell you is that I enjoyed my time with Brent extremely. He was truly a pleasure to get to interview.

  • I forgot just how charming & downright handsome Brent was as a younger man. This was filmed in the 90's, but what year? I may have been still a child at the time & probably put him in the same category as the Tin Man.

  • adorable <3

  • Brent Spiner is Lore. Doesn't make me think of Data. Data is Data.

  • @smash461986 He even says that the character of Lore is more like him then Data is. I don't if that means I should be worried or love him all the more. :) I think he's mainly referring to the sarcastic, egotistical part of Lore, not so much the fact that he's a sociopath. Let's face it, everyone has that part of them that wants to be full of themselves in peoples faces, which is why Lore has such an attraction for people. Also, Brent is quite the joker, he's often not serious.

  • He looks like lore

  • He WAS the Spock of the 90's!

  • Daaaaata. Daaaaaaata.

    Data speak some Borg

  • I think a lot of people don't get it that Brent is joking when he comes up with this "star personality". He is so ironic. Very often he is not serious at all but people don't get it. I did an interview with him recently and he replied to any question I asked him even if he didn't like it all that much.

  • @Ganymed27 that is so cool that you did an interview with him recently. He is great to talk to and he was the same way after the interview was done shooting. Thanks for your comment

  • @Ganymed27 thats really cool. Glad he is still the same way and an amazing personality. Thanks for the comment

  • @Ganymed27 Im glad that he has the same personality today. He was so great to talk with and truly was a nice guy. Thanks for the comment

  • Refreshing to see him in an interview where he wasn't so jaded as he is now about the whole Data role...though I can get why...it's kinda rough to be pigeonholed your whole career. Still has that slight trademark ego..which makes it all the odder that I love him to pieces..I hate egotistical people...but cause he's hot, i'll forgo that character flaw...

  • @funygirl38 I happen to agree with you. I am glad that I was able to talk to him and that he was able to talk about other roles. Yes, being pigeonholded is a huge thing with a character that everyone loves. He has made some great appearances in roles like Dr. Okun from independence day. He was great to talk to and thank you for your comment

  • He's so pretty O_O I got to meet him earlier this year and he was so nice and very awesome =D

  • @aleahchim01 im glad he has kept his good looks. Thanks for the comment.

  • He is so young! He is so sweet! He is so cute! Data rules! Thank you very much for sharing!

  • @Barbuzuka I totally agree with you that Data rules. He has so many classic moments from the show and the movies. Glad we could share to everyone.

  • this is an old interview that i've never seen.bs AINT NO SCHWARTZENEGGER!

  • @betterinformed your right about it being an older interview. This was one of the interviews that I did when apart of Inside Entertainment. He was a pleasure to talk to and any question I asked him, he was willing to answer.

  • so young!

  • i think this series lasted 11 years...not counting the four movies.

  • @gotohellgooglization You may be right though Data was the character to watch.

  • so sweeet!

  • When the interview asks him what it's like to play Soong it looks like he was already waiting for it and had "It was great" preloaded

  • God, he's still very young here. Brent Spiner is a very gifted actor. He deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame or at least an Oscar (yes, the golden dust catcher).

  • @byte2702 He was a wonderful person to talk to. His personality is so straight forward and he can truly understand what it takes to bring a character to life. I would agree with you that he deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and that it be done soon as possible. Thank you for your kind opinion.
