Her grasp of science is so poor she isn’t familiar with the pH scale, thinks Beryllium is a heavy metal, mistakenly assumes that CO2 is trapped in the troposphere, and climate models can predict forest fires and floods. Embarrassingly, Oreskes doesn’t understand the difference between reactive oxygen and radioactive oxygen. (“American Thinker”)

Comrade Dr Oreskes the historian says it right, the debate has long been over. Capitalist countries CO2 emissions, are 1000000 times more harmful than CO2 emissions from communist countries like China

Naomi is treated like a AGW goddess. She's an historian and she should get over herself. Her understanding of science is laughable. She is a Liberal loon and will simply "adjust" (cough, cough) her "research" to meet her desired conclusion. That's not science, that's just politics.

A partial review of the emails shows that in many cases, climate scientists revealed that their own research wasn't always conclusive. In others, they discussed ways to paper over differences among themselves in order to present a "unified" view on climate change. On at least one occasion, climate scientists were asked to "beef up" conclusions about climate change and extreme weather events because environmental officials in one country were planning a "big public splash."

this woman clearly has a political bias which is getting in the way of sound scientific judgement. how the hell is she supposed to educate her students with such a bias? it's really unbelievable. the other thing is that many republicans (including gwb, mccain, etc.) have jumped on board man-made global warming, so her conservative conspiracy hypothesis is really a moot point.

She is very good at making ad hominem attacks against those that disagree with her. I waited for her to say those that disagree with her are funded by "big oil". I'm still waiting for a substantive critique from her. It seems the only thing she can come up with is that these physicists were anti-communists - as if that were a bad thing.
