  • WOW. Is no one else impressed that she's jumping this high, as well as she did, after only 3 weeks? You're fearless! Most adults at my barn are more scared than the kids lol. Keep it up, props to you for taking up riding as an adult.

  • Nice job.is the horse ur riding yours? If yes u are sooo lucky.i ride, andi want my own horse so bad.how hight can u jump now?

  • omg i love jumpinggg

  • i also have a one eyed horse:) but i think you did pretty good for just starting:)

  • Love your jumping position! I soo need to work on mine!. This summer im goonna work on it, I have been watching a bunch of people jumoing..just to find the correct position.

  • I think it's silly that people are critiquing your riding. 1) Because you asked them not to. 2) No one posts videos of them riding to have their riding critiqued.

You and your boy are adorable! A love of riding is all one needs to ride.

  • okay,

1st of all. I LOVE how you said feel free to critique, because that means you want to be a good rider! The only thing if your not going with your horse, like your going against him/her. But yeah you said this as old, lol, so are mine. =d

  • you do have loose legs and seat at the canter, but overall extremely strong legs because they don't move when you jump. you just rely on the stirups to much. try cantering with onle one or no stirrups. it seems hard but i was doing the same things with my legs until i accidentally lost one of my stirrups and its easier!!!

  • i dont think she is too tall. at all.

  • u look little too tall for the horse your riding

  • Try using a bit more leg muscle to keep your legs still and shorten your stirrups a hole or two

  • u r pretty good =)

the highest iv jumped is 2'6 and iv only done that once!

    i usually jump 2' and 2'3

  • U have a really nice jumping position and try not 2 move ur legs so much. like try 2 use ur cafs more. and loosing up the reins cause ur keeping him from going over the jumps more smoothly. and thats y he knocked the 1 jump down cause u were holding him 2 tight and u had no pressure on him with ur legs. and he is really cute and otherwise ur really good. hope my advice works. lol

  • thanks, but this is a reaaaaaaaally old video. I don't ride like this at all anymore. lol

  • sorry, that wasnt me commenting, it was my idiotic friend sorry, im sure you've goten much better over the past year:)

  • Legs is sooo cute! I can't believe how good you are! the highest I have ever jumped was only 2'6" and I almost fell off, you make it look sooo easy!

  • o! well thats still really lucky :D

  • cool! u and Samson are great together! my advice: try posting just a little slower. count it like up one, down one, instead of just up, down, up , down. and try keeping ur legs a little more still when posting too. ur SOOO lucky to have a horse!

  • thanks, lol but its not Samson. :)

this was at camp about a month after starting to ride (i know i shouldn't have been jumping that high... didn't know any better).

  • you did a pretty good job. but honestly you shouldnt have been jumping at all for only riding 3 weeks

  • i know it was a mistake, the trainer at summer camp had me do it and i didn't know any better than to say no.

but from now on please do not tell me what i am ready/not ready for. thnx.

  • im sorry if I offended you. i not trying to say your not ready. but for three weeks you did very well

  • @slappymyhorsexoxo true. i hate it when the instructors push people too hard. ive been riding for 4 years. and only jumping for 8 months. i didnt start cantering until i had already been riding for 1.5years.... and my friend start riding right wen i started learning how to jump and she was w/t/c/ jumping within 4months. intructors really shouldnt do that bc (no offence to my friend, lol) she isnt even good at trotting.

  • nice job!! how long have you been riding?

  • thanks!

i had been riding for like 3 weeks when this was taken. but i've been riding for 2 months now (i have to take a break due to an injury though.. :[ )

i can promise that i've gotten A LOT better. lol

  • hey ur doing great:) really nice

umm did u say that horse has 1 eye ? :&?

  • thats sucks! What happened to your knee!?

  • just based on the way my leg's bone structure is, my hip bone, knee, and ankle don't line up right.. so whenever I do something that really fires up my quad muscle, my knee hurts really bad, and my knee cap dislocates. :[

I'm not allowed to run, and I have to wear a brace whenever I dance, etc.

It's on the same day as my "two-month riding anniversary." lol.

    :[[[

  • Thats sucks!!! My hip is wonky and sometimes it pops out of its socket, But i hope your surgery goes well :)

  • thanks :]

  • your doing good!!! You should ride bareback to work on your leg muscles though! lol

    :D

  • thanks again!

I started my no-stirrup work last week, so I'm getting there. Today I was able to post w/o stirrups around the whole arena!! My trainer and I were pretty excited. loll.

except I have to get surgery on my knee in like 2 1/2 weeks.. so I'm going to lose all the muscle. :[ and can't ride for TWO MONTHS! and then no jumping for another month afterwards..

  • geezee girl what are you doing riding in that mudding grass ring. You better be careful jumping on wet grass. Horses can and will slip and fall. Good riding though!

  • You've improved a lot since your show! I live in florida too. Before you know it you'll be jumping 3' coarses! See ya at the shows!

  • you're progressing ultra fast, you should be EXTREMELY proud!!

  • Oh My Gosh! Your So talented :P
