  • This material is called AinaCore and is manufactured by Malama Composites

  • *Subscribed How do you spell the name of the vegetable based foam?

  • Yes, this is an area of great interest to me. When I was a youngster, my father's workshop was on of my favorite play areas. I only went in there when he was present, of course, but I could happily while away hours nailing blocks of wood together. I honestly believe there is value in children learning to work with their hands. In fact, there is a community of educators who believe many children learn best when they are actively involved in hands-on experiences.

  • Interesting … this would make a great training product for kids in elementary school to learn the basics without the dangers of sharp blades.

  • Unfortunately, not yet. We are working on finding a manufacturing and retailing partner. One of the reasons I decided to post this was to see what folks thought of it. Thank you for your comments.

  • What an amazing product you invented Ron. Do they carry that at Home Depot or OSH?

  • The polyurethane is about the same price as plywood.

  • is this stuff cheaper ?

  • Great idea for kids to safely use power tools, I love it! I'm sure this'll save countless accidents & emergency room visits, great for classroom or home use! Thanks for inventing this product!

  • how can i get those tools? or do you need beta testers. If so? I would gladly give my time. I have a 7 year old that loves to make stuff. we make one project a week. but those projects are cut out already so it is glue nail and sometimes paint.
