Yes, this is an area of great interest to me. When I was a youngster, my father's workshop was on of my favorite play areas. I only went in there when he was present, of course, but I could happily while away hours nailing blocks of wood together. I honestly believe there is value in children learning to work with their hands. In fact, there is a community of educators who believe many children learn best when they are actively involved in hands-on experiences.
Unfortunately, not yet. We are working on finding a manufacturing and retailing partner. One of the reasons I decided to post this was to see what folks thought of it. Thank you for your comments.
Great idea for kids to safely use power tools, I love it! I'm sure this'll save countless accidents & emergency room visits, great for classroom or home use! Thanks for inventing this product!
how can i get those tools? or do you need beta testers. If so? I would gladly give my time. I have a 7 year old that loves to make stuff. we make one project a week. but those projects are cut out already so it is glue nail and sometimes paint.

Interesting … this would make a great training product for kids in elementary school to learn the basics without the dangers of sharp blades.

What an amazing product you invented Ron. Do they carry that at Home Depot or OSH?
