@kincaide67 There was a time, for many years, when I was young that my dad would play this song, and many others by Jim Ed Brown, every Sunday. I think it was Jim Ed Brown sings the Country Classics" or something like that. It's been 10 years since my dad passed. Could you please post the rest of the album? I would really appreciate it. -thanks.

@chungley The album that I have is called "Gentle On My Mind." I believe it dates from 1971. There are only 9 tracks on it. It's also quite scratchy. There's a pretty good version of "Big Bad John" on there as well. Anyway - let me get the album out and see what condition it's actually in. Thanx for watching and sharing the memories! @scottytar Not sure - but if you watch a lot of the old films, you'll find so many things that people deem "inappropriate" or "politically incorrect." Maybe there's just too much time to sit around and think about what things now? Who knows? Bit I do agree with you on the harsh treatment of the horses! Cause I know those aren't mechanical stand-ins running around with the tires around their necks slowin them down. LOL
