  • I can get my knee down on my YBR 125. Its got very thin tyres and i can still out lean most.

  • @littlegrizzlybiggins please video this

  • @airbornerat

Will do mate. Ill give you a link when its uploaded.

  • @littlegrizzlybiggins WHAT?!?! Are you serious?!!! THAT is fucking awesome dude!! lol

  • those roundabouts near ifield and singlewell as you come off the a249 are perfect for getting ur knee down i do it all the time

  • better than me dude, good work

  • Is this near sheffordd?

  • Read the description...

  • i am surprised by how slowly you were going to get your knee down!

its been a while since had a bike :(

  • please view my vid titled knee down good sparks (spencer) tell me what u think

  • Smooth man! Check out my knee down video :)

  • I got a GSF 1200S 2001 and the pegs is constantly hit the ground.

  • what kind of tyres do you got and what dimention?

  • i know what you mean jordo its great having a 125 and still tanking people in corners hah ppl say im crazy on corners but i jst thinks its coz bikes kick cars ass

  • I put once my knee down on my 2005 bandit, i had to hang off really far. But i couldnt do it again since then. my bike is getting unstable sometimes in a very inclined position, when i'm in the hang off. maybe i'm to slow or the buffer is adjusted too soft?

    but great job, cool vid!

  • Yeh I got a bandit not realy designed for track days, good comuter though 140mph plus is easy on bandit 600 with half fairing.

The pegs do ground easy but they are big and flexible so no worrys there.

  • right, i have a 2001 rs125, i can get my knee down by hangin off the seat, i can do it on sheer lean angle aswell on a fast bend, but when i hang off the seat its more of a comfort thing, knowing im not goin too far over yano, an yeah iv heard bandit foot pegs touch the floor? cos thats what im buying this month as i have booked my test!! n oh yeah, most of the people i meet at vauxhalls and ride to the stormy with cant get away frm me in the bends! untill we get to the straight then i get kild

  • last week we went over the stormy petrel on the A41 (bike meet) on the way home we had a little bit of scratching, in front of me we had a knee down dick (all the gear no idea)on a £10,000 bike with £7,000 race leathers sliding off the seat etc. them i wasted him on the real bends on my 600 bindit. What a knee down pussy

  • its just good fun!

  • why does everyone think getting a knee down is great? are you on the track? 160mph? i kept up with a knee down space cadet in my wifes car last week!!WHAT A PRICK. sliding in and out of the seat (on a round about).... the idea is to go fast not scuff your sliders to show your queer mates. ALL THE GEAR, NO IDEA

  • someone doesnt own a bike. either that o they are upset that they cant get their knee down ever.

  • lol

  • nice ive just got my bandit so it will ba awhile b4 i try anything like dat lol

  • took my bandit on a track day. Great bike 4 messing around on.

  • Great!

  • only just got one of these after having a gsxr 400, mutch harder and more impressive getting youre knee down on one of these things. the sportsbikes dont need any effort to get youre knee on the road.

  • is bandit a good bike to put a knee down?

  • aint bad was hard at first but got the hang of it now but to be honest the pegs are a lil low and grounds out alot wen ya get real low and the front forks are a bit soft but it can be done with ease just dont expect to be passing gsxrs on da bends :P

  • to be honest any sports bike/sports tourer is easy to get your knee down on, i could do it on my bandit 400, bandit 1200 (plus after i raised it) and my hayabusa. and from experience bikes like bandits will pass the faster bikes (i.e. gsxr's) even on bends because a lot of ppl who ride those sorts of bikes dont really know how, if you can get your knee down on the twisties you will be way ahead on almost anything.

  • @motocro Bandit is a very old fashioned ride.Too old of a design feel on it kinda hard to explain you have to ride it.

  • @motocro yes it is, because you do not need to drive very fast. it's easier to get your knee down on a suzuki bandit than on a sportsbike ;) when I dirve around a corner with knee down most of my friends need to drive faster than me to put their knees down ;) but u really need hanging off ;)

  • ah nice

i can get my peg down

  • You need to get your head to the inside of the centre line of the bike, you shoulders and a better body position will follow. Of course this does mean that you actually lean less and so will have to go a little faster to touch knee. But it's more natural and gives more confidence so you'll find it easier anyway.

    Knee down rocks!

  • Wrong. You get your head over the wing mirror like you are trying to 'peek' round the fairings.

The knee down will follow naturally.

Look at a few MCN vids.

  • Er, that's what I said. Unless the "wing" (what wings?) mirror you refer to is the outside mirror in which case you'd be better off keeping quiet.

  • From, watching some of your vids it's clear you know how to get the 'knee down' and your technique is quite good.

You just didn't explain very well.

    Touche.

  • Wish I could get that far over on my Bandit. I have the old 98 style and the tyre walls are too large to get right over.

  • ive got a 1998 bandit and i ground my peg down to almost nothing and my linhk pipe touches the ground sometime...no excuses!! :-D

  • lol does your pipe ever touch them little car park speed bumps? mines a twat, write back:)

  • the downpipes do if im 2 up :-S

i got a 40mm jack up kit and my pegs no longer touch so its much quicker round corners with no worry of the peg hitting *thumbs up*

  • my 50mm jackup kit should arrive tomora, i can now get my knee dwn an footpegs dont really touched jsut feels wierd having footpegs so low lol does anyone know if like a gsxr shock will fit my 97 bandit 600 its too soft:(

  • Is the 50mm jackup kit any good?

  • I've just got a kit that positions the footrest a bit further up, and back. Combined with a 40mm jack up kit, progressive front springs, different oil in the front dampers and a new rear spring/damper in the rear, it now handles SWEET

  • EDIT: I also got a raised exhaust to keep it from the ground. And it looks awsome

  • i have got 120/60/17 FRONT & 160/60/17 REAR Tyres and i get it over easy peasy. just keep at it.

Varypeeps, What tyres sizes do you have on ures?

  • Hmm. You are using a skewed body position. You should try and make your body do all the leaning, while the bike is more upright. In your video, you seem to be letting the bike do the leaning while you lean over and twist your body. Not a bad second effort by any means though!

  • yea think ya right there i got barley any footpeg left as it grounds out often il keep practiseing at it cheers
