Wherefore, a trick can not be stupid as it does not have any inherently traceable intelligence to begin with. So, it is only the observers, who, with intelligence that can be comparatively gaged as to the quantity and quality of intelligence.

When a book is just paper and ink. The words or arrangement of the words may be liked or disliked but a constant label of stupid is inaccurate. Anyway a "Trick" refers to the misinterpretation of the observers senses.

Actually, the girl is a blow up doll, deflated and concealed into the huge silk. For the vanish the magician uses a giant needle to deflate her. The needle has been cleverly hidden inside his left pants pocket, and will be used for Needle Thru Balloon just after this.
