@tseven72 I'm thinking NES Guitar Hero requires holding the controller in one hand, outstretching the cord in the other hand for some radical air guitar
I was born in '79 so I spent my childhood with Commodore 64 games...I've spent my life with metal music...I can't tell you how much I love to hear my favourite tunes in this way too...
you know i saw a poster that showed Dio puting up the devil Horns and puting his other hand on the Clean shaven head of a 10 to 14 Year old cancer patient....and it said "By the power of Metal you are Healed"....and i think after that he died 4 days later....i would like to think that he used his remaining life energy to save that boy because Dio knew it was time to Ascend to The THRONE OF METAL!!!!!! ALL HAIL DIOOOOOO!!!!!!....
Right now, I'm imagining little 8bit version of Dio wielding a sword and slaying beasts on his journey to kill the ultimate dragon to save the earth from a long lasting oblivion and nothingness. Yes, Dio can do that.
I am in the process of designing an 8 bit game for my college course, I am now going to create Ronnie James Dio in 8 bit and he will give you the powers of metal
My grandpa owns a clock that makes this sound whenever a hour has passed. Imagine having this played and having company over. Just eating and drinking and this starts playing.
A legendary musician immortalized on a legendary console. We miss you Dio. I hope you're rockin with Cliff, Dime, and all the other metal legends in the Hall of the Metal Gods. I need to go play my NES while listening to this album... RIP Ronnie James Dio \m/
@Nannirk ... just because I never met him personally does not mean that I wont experience true grief... I( seen a documetary of metal .,. and Ronnie James Dio was in it... and he was a really cool guy ... and I related to him big time and had lots of respect ..... DAMN YOU STOMACH CANCER!! ..... anyways peace out bitch
@Nannirk I hust did! but here let me put it this way... I didn't know Bruce Lee either... or was even born when he was alive ... yet from the stuff I read about him, and from his interviews, I could tell that he was an awsome individual ... and when his son died, Brandon Lee, it really sucked for me... because that was Bruce Lees son! sure he still has a daughter Rose who is still alive but it's just not the same... look at all the falkes that cried at Michael Jacksons death! did they know him?
@Nannirk ... now I really didn't care about Michael Jackson ... thought he was a fruity goof child molester .. but all those flakes that cried at his death that didn't know him still did feel grief .... it's called empathy ... we are alive and relate to one another
.. if I seen a mother screaming in grief at the loss of her child ... I just may get teary eyed myself and experience some of her grief .... so you see .... how we can experience true grief over someone with out even knowing them?
@Nan ... ok here is another opening for another one of my excellent annalogies ....
lets equate Buddah to a kindergarden teacher, and one of her students tried to kill off all the girls with sissors ... the kindergarden teacher wouold punish (lets say Billy) Billy by taking the sissors away and maybe giving him a whipping (depending on what ere) ... at anyrate I think you get the jist.....
@Nan Bodhisattvas are revered beings who have conceived the will and vow to dedicate their lives with bodhicitta for the sake of all beings. Tibetan Buddhism teaches methods for achieving Buddahood more quickly by including the Vajrayāna path............ now Buddah .. being a Bodhisattva ... helps us all attain Buddah hood.. and in the process may punish certain beings in the process
@8bitMagician I can't argue with what religious text says about this, but I don't see how a peaceful being is able to punish. It doesn't fit with my faith.
@Na ................now granted it was not grief I felt ... but never the less ... If I cared a little bit more. I may have just have felt true sorrow ... like all those flakes that cried for Mikey..... but my "mother wailing for her dead child" annalogy was superb
@8bitMagician lol. I can empathise when someone loses their child. But to cry over a musician.. I just don't get it. I can cry when reading a book, watching a film or even sad stuff on Oprah.
But that's different. That's being moved. But if you care enough about a musician to warrant grief when he dies, (btw I can accept that as an explanation) you should probably know about it when news hits the world. Not months after. That's all I'm saying.
@Nannirk Haha No book, film, or some interview show has made be cry. But one thing that gets me everytime is an old Fantastic Four episode where the Hulk beats the Thing to an inch of his death.
@Nann hey no problem ... excellent conversation we had ... and for the record I could care less and never for a moment grieved Dio's loss as opposed to realized how we are all going to die one day .. so really I was feeling sorry for myself
@roketfingers proves the fact that there is no god; what else could be the reason behind wimpy hacks like justin beiber and miley cyrus thriving and true rockers dying...
