  • @eazzick yea its awesome

  • the tube inside the handle i threw away tho i saved the morsecode list. i put some steelwire, matches inside a vinyl-glove finger and some spikes to attach the blade IF it would fall of the handle som day. I also took two small rubberbands at the bottom of the blade under the knucklecover so the blade is totaly stable and secure

If you do these small modifications IS a great frekkin knife! I compare other knifes in stores to this knife when i want to buy new knives

thumbs up so people can see

  • i bought this knife about 5 months ago, i was SCEPTIC but after taking it to the woods and chopped down some trees and bulit a shelter, chopped some firewood i realised it was a good quality knife!

Tho the items that following SUCK! i´ve replaced everything with some rope, matches, firesteel ect.

  • @emmy6423 if you spend 'alot' of time in the bush.. you wouldnt need to ask this. anyone who does bushcraft knows. knives that contains shit in the handle is a very weak blade and will break at the handle. you need a full tang carbon steel blade for bushcraft.....

  • ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! FTP

  • Thank you for the review. Much appreciated.

  • these are made of 420 j2 steel i think ...its another term for crappy steel. the last good knife united made were the navy seal knives in ats-34 years ago and those were not worth the money they wanted for them. if you want a survival knife that is worth a damn and dontt wanna spend a mint get a mora or a cs bushman . carbon steel is the way to go 75% of stainless is garbage

  • No offense but this guy sounds like Alfred Hitchcock.Good e-ven-ing heah's anotha knife reavuuw fouh all you chaps hahaha.Really this knife is ugly but sometimes that's good because you care less when it gets beat up.I have the M48KommandoBowie,M48Kommando dagger and the survival negotiator spear tip by United Cutlery and they're pretty good knives;no Case or Buck for sure but as far as the imported inexpensive crap goes I would prefer this brand over most others.

  • is it reliable enough too take heavy abuse

  • it looks like a bowie knife from cod

  • @emmy6423 i have owned this knife for 2 years, and the funny thing is that in my experience its taken a MASSIVE beating. im gonna be honest and just say that my friends got drunk one night while camping and made a video of them trying to chop a brick in half with it..... the blade had only a small chip in it that i was able to buff out with a rough stone. it now has a razor edge again and is my go-to camping knife. i did have to glue the compass in place as it was falling out alot.

  • All Cops Are Bastards!!!!!!

  • @emmy6423 This knife is steel, not plastic or anything, so it's heavier but it'll take a better beating than other ones

  • Its made in tiwan look at the video

  • I just got one and the blade felt like it was going to fallout did happen to yours!

  • thanks for the review!!!

is in the handle water proof.

  • @liamkaplan10 , i'm not 100% sure, but the stopper does have a rubber seal so it most probably is.

  • Is it a toy or something more efficient ?

Can it chop logs with no damages ?

  • @gbrinfo yes the log will have no damages :D haha get the knife, and try it out. use a hatchet for choping ,every knife will get damaged by that kinda use so that was a trick question.

  • all cops are bastards. aha (acab)

  • Not a fan of knives that are not "full tang" constructed. Its just a question of when it will break not IF it will break...

  • if you saved the $60 it cost for the knife and maybe just doubled that you could of got a nice blade that would last and be useful. The sheath has lots of pockets so if your unfortunate enough to loose the knife you just lost your survival kit, or vice versa.. how thoughtful. Plus its not full tang so if you dont manage to just snap the blade sometime it will probably break off at the handle sooner or later. Meh save your money.the first 4 random knifes at UC were all rip off's of over blades!

  • united cutlery is a rip off website man

  • this exact same knife is used by Nicolas Cage in the movie Kick Ass.

  • with all the pockets on the sheath, it's kind of dumb that they made it with a hollow handle. they could have just put the stuff in the pockets and made it a REAL knife by keeping a full tang. also how thick is the blade, i would never trust a stainless steel blade that long and large if it was under a quarter inch thick. it is a good video though, no disrespect to you just a dislike of the rambo type blades.

  • I wouldnt worry to much about the quality...and while im no fan of those ridiculous teeth on the spine of the blade, it should hold up just fine.. Taiwan manufactured knives are better fit and finish then pretty much anything coming out of China..Approaching Japanese quality. I own a Browning Crowell / Barker knife, nice even full flat grinds, micarta handles, awesome blade and its made in Taiwan.. My Ontario Rat 1 folder,Boker Los Banos and CRKT Hissatsu folder are all manufactured in Taiwan.

  • @emmy6423 well i have cut down 4 3 inch trees 3 in a row and it still had a good edge on it and hasn't broken yet.

  • @emmy6423

If Chris Reeves failed in making a strong screw tang or no tang fixed blade then i highly doubt that thing could be used outside of a paper bag never mind ''in the bush'' as you so comical put..

sorry to be a Ass but i do spend a lot of time depending upon good tools.

W'P thats a p52 tin opener, and your right those wire saws are ok if you use sticks for handles or para cord..

  • hows the seating of the blade? does it wiggle at all? also how3 much of a beating can it take?

  • @flipflopking56 @flipflopking56 Good Question! I wish someone would answer this, as hangs on wether or not I will buy it.

  • @Mirdala it's pretty good for No movement, but i don't know how much of a beating it could take though.

  • in my opinion u should never use a 440 or 420 stainless blade for a survival or bush knife there too hard to sharpen and there not as tough a good high carbon blade like 1050 or higher

  • i have this knife, thanks for the ideas on other stuff to put in it

  • throw away the snake bite kit completly useless.

  • I have chopped down two 3-4 inch round trees and the blade has still been quite sharp. The blade is also easy to sharpen. The compass is a POS.

  • if i were you i`d add a fire kit

  • looks like a fun TOY

  • when are you going to post somthing about UNITED CUTLERY 784B SENTRY BLACK CLIP POINT, 9 1/2

  • would like to see a review of the united cutlery trailblazer hatchet/knife combo if possible....thanks god vid.

  • probably Not, there are better knives out there, this is a good fun nife, got some good gear in it though, maybe you could try this knife, but alksoi take a good back knife with you just incase.

  • dont buy anything united cutlery if u plan on surviving outdoors, buy a full tang, 1095, reccomend a becker for a cheap, good suv knife

  • does it come with the sharpening stone

  • yes it does come with the sharpening stone.

  • @eazzick Yes but it sucks

  • I have the same knife but ive had it for years.....mine doesnt have alot of it as yours.....i dont have a compass or magnifying glass.... plus some other stuff....its a great knife to have.

  • My parents actually gave one of these to me as a present on my 14th B-day...I know! But they trusted me with such things, and I managed to keep all my fingers so it was all good.. Well Im 32 now,and still have it! I lost most of the "survival gear" years ago. The blade is held by a single role pin and loosened with use. I fixed the problem by bending the top of the handguard so as to apply tension to the spine of the blade. That seemed to do the trick. It now resides in my old knife box..

  • I just got one, and I love it....

  • Nice one man, i think they are great too.

    Mike.

  • i got one for christmas and it so cool u can take off your guard

  • i have the exact same knife and i got it for 50 $

  • Alright mate, its was £35 i think, i'll send you a link.

    Mike.

  • Bro, did you know where i can get cool swords like united cutlery sword's and katanas :D?

Cuz... i don't know how to buy from their homepage and ebay sells then but they're low quality + made in china + like 1month shipping :s

    Help me pls!

PD : sorry for my english :p

  • 420 steel is not the best for a survival knife, especially a knife without a full tang. the saw on the back is terribly notched, probly would snag too much while sawing. the compass on knives generally get thrown off by the knife if you use it while still attached. basically, any knife with a hollowed out handle is not going to perform well, bring a sack for those extra items/fill your pockets, buy a quality knife. you can get a pretty decent blade for the same price as one of these or less.

  • ty for the video.. very nice

  • how good is the steel?

have you used it out doors yet?

  • Did it come with all that shit!!!?????

  • Yes i t did mate, i swapped the torch for my own though, but it did have one.

    Mike.

  • I like this knife cause me as a knife collector never saw a survival knife come with all these accessories for only 35$

  • fuck acab

  • how much are these??

  • Sorry about that, forgot to put the info in the More Info section and a link,

    Its £35.

    Mike.

  • great knife

  • i suppose you could swap the knife itself for a full tang knife

  • RAMBO!!!

  • plasters ? they look like band-aids ?

  • Plasters are what we in the U.K call Band-Aids

  • same thing haha

  • Hey, nice I am a fan of the D cover on the grip that makes it look nice. All my good knives are up in queensland at my brothers, His stone sharpener machine has a bigger opening so it puts more of an edge on it, so when I drove up there I took all my filleting and fishing knives and my novelty knives, I had about 8 of them, and I had one with a black blade so in the bush if its sunny it doesnt reflect and let everyone know where you are. I am about to upload some of my cheap/crap knives.

  • Nice knife Mike the blade reminds me of one of the rambo knifes used in the film,oh and u real get a nice survival knife for 35 pounds with a huge kit to boot ,5* as usual ,very huge blade ya!!! i love it :D

  • in america the call the can opener a P-51 Can opener

  • In australia we call them a fred, field ration eating device, but it doesnt look like ours.

  • hey dude , can u give an aproximation about how much can it cost ? i think id wanna buy one of them

  • Hi shaorma4life, it was £35 in England

    hope this helps.

    Mike.

  • i used the converter on my phone and that comes to 76 australian dollars and 50 american dollars.

  • Great vid. might buy 1. it looks pretty sturdy. 5/5

    Mike.

  • Hey Shaun, i got it from Battle Orders LTD for £35.

    Mike.
