Can someone tell where i can buy that bottle he is holding. i typed "tree sap remover budco" on Google and it got no results. There is no way in hell i would use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover or razor blade. It's way too risky.
Rubbing alcohol works wonders on tree sap, I have a white vehicle and at least 20 spots where tree sap had dripped all over it. So you can imagine my disdain when I look at my car and its covered in yellow stains lol. However, just today I took some rubbing alcohol and a soft rag, and got every single stain off in about 5 minutes. I wouldn't waste my money on any product out there, rubbing alcohol cost 98 cents, and its all you'll need.
Try putting regular car gasoline....it actually works!!!!!!! just make sure you put a little bit on and then just remove....it also help clean your headlights from dirt......
I use Meguires quick detailer polish, This stuff makes it easy to remove stains and sap with little effort. It is not a wax but a polish and very easy to put on just spray on and wipe off it lasts longer than anything i have seen.
If you have scatches in your clear coat and you just use a hot presure washer you will melt the sap into your clear coat then you're F'D. Commercial tree sap remover is useless... try somthing with a lubricant like wd-40 or any spray lubricant used for drilling. Then wash the entire car to get that stuff off.
i agree, this guy is wrong! if you park underneath a tree like I do...than you need way more than a sap remover. I've spent way too much time working my arm sore trying to rub every damn spot.
I just bought some turtle wax ice clay kit with hopes that the clay bar will get the job done.
There is a household item that getd tree sap off almost instantly....its called rubbing alcohol. Haha....I had this annoying streak of hardened sap on my car door and it occured to me to use rubbing alcohol....i dabbed it with a cotton ball and it went away completely....didnt damage my finish either.

kind of an obvious tip: Remove tree sap with tree sap remover. Next video idea: Wax car with car wax, or clean glass with glass cleaner.
