FFIII and FFIV were good on the ds, but I didn't like the graphics. I'd accept and play VI on the DS if I had to, but I'd rather it be on something else. Maybe the 3DS would make it look kinda cool. reason number 1 is that the only final fantasy bad guy (unless you count Seifer) in Kingdom Hearts is Sephiroth

reason number 2 is (admittedly an opinion) Kefka is the most annoying character on the face of the planet! there is only one person that rivals Kefka in terms of annoyance, and that is the Joker!

Final Fantasy could've ended and they could've started Fabula Nova Crystalis. People would've probably gladly taken in FNC and FF13's reception would've been a better success if they would've taken the spiritual successor route. Plus some faith was dwindled when long time members of the original FF team went away. A rebranding like this while drawing in the fans from previous brand would've benefited them better.

@KONTROLLEN348 The problem with that is that the character designer for VI and before was Amano,and VII and after,Nomura.Nom doesn't feel comfortable writing for someone else's characters,and that's why Setzer is the only pre-VII character in Kingdom Hearts.Plus,we all love the English localized Kefka,who was changed from the Japanese version by Bowdler.To get an idea of what he was originally like,play Dissidia 012.I'm totally for him being in KH,as long as he's Bowdlerized.

You know, every time I see a "Her derp, Kefka > Sephiroth/Yu Yevon/Cloud of Darkness/Golbez/whatever" post, I can't help but think it's really just the same poser who's either afraid or jealous of that which is more popular. To me they kinda ruined Terra and Kefka in Dissidia. Terra was too weak and sumbissive while Kefka played the role of a crazy clown.

Terra was a lot stronger in FFVI and Kefka was more of an insane, power hungry, high ranking official who wanted to become a god and destroy the world. Not so much clown like except for his appearance and the occasional sarcasm and funny lines. They made him more into the Joker in Dissidia

Terra is my least favorite character in Dissidia and this video shows why. Any other character like Firion or Squall would have blocked Kefka's attack and taken some pain. Compared to Terra running away like a coward.

I'm not sure if you've played the original FF6, but she was actually pretty tough in that.

She didn't really act like she did here, she may have a few times been worried or confused but that was obviously because she had amnesia, and was unsure what to do. But she wasn't a coward, she would fight without backing down.

In fact she was capable of using almost all swords while still being one of the best Magic users in the game.

Then later in the game when you find her again, she only refused to fight because she needed to look after the orphans when Kefka destroyed everything, the kids said "you can't take mama away!" or something like that, so Terra decided to stay to look after them...even after that, she still saved the party from Phunbaba, and eventually ended up joining everyone again anyway to fight Kefka.
