Just saw this movie in NEtflix! It was incredible 5 stars! So I just bought it on Amazon for like 5 bucks. DVD Collection material. As good as misery. Except its not a horror its a very well done and acted drama.

Just finished reading the book, I hope the movie does this great story justice as unfortunately so many of King's film adaptations done. I liked the trialer, and from what I've heard it seems the film holds true to the storyline of the book. King and Bates have both mastered the perfect blend of artistic genius and insanity.

When I first saw this trailer years ago, I knew I would be in the theatre for this. I’ve been a huge fan of this film and Jennifer for a long time. Everybody was fantastic in it, but I thought Jennifer nailed her part PERFECTLY, and should have won an Oscar. That was the first time I saw Ellen Muth, (Young Selena) and David Strathern. I have seen it, bought it a number of times. VHS, Laserdisc, Blu-ray, and just now I saw it again. A 10 on the 10 scale!

i really like the story of Dolores Claiborne even though reading it gives me headache because Dolores has bad grammar.

I was impressed with this beautiful movie. Kathy Bates made this film - absolutely brilliant performance. She should have won the Oscar or at least being nominated for this award. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Judy Parfitt were stunning as well.

In an Interveiw on IMDB Kathy Bates was asked what film she was most proud of. Bates said "Dolores Claiborne". She was great in Misery but Dolores was so different. Playing the same character at different ages. Kathy Bates is my all time favoutire actress!!

this is an excellant movie. one of kathy bates best. I cannot believe she was not nominated for this. Jennifer jason leigh and Christopher Plummer did a good job as well but Kathy Bates really shouldve been nominated for this excellant film!
