Sounds cheap? O_o This thing puts off some heavy shit!!! I own one...it's all in the music genre you're playing. Great for PanterA/Dimebag sounds, or pretty much anything metal. But mostly, this guitar was meant for squeals. Artificial or Natural, squeals on this sexy hunk-o-wood are better sounding than any other guitar I've played before. :)

And if you don't like the sound quality...there's something very easy (yet expensive) you can do...switch the pickups! xD
