Bonnie Rait does a good job at this song, so does Linda Ronstadt. But this is almost unreal, this song is so simply put. It transcends, it is pure.

At the last concert of his that I attended, I expected Mr. Newman to close with "Lonely At the Top," as he is inclined to do. To my date's and my delight, he closed with this instead. Long after you and I have left this earth, this song will remain.  To humanity's credit.

Then, one day, I heard "Sigmund Frued's Impression Of Albert Einstein In America", and my lfie changed.
