that's awsome... i'm 17 and i've still never been on a plane before; that's why i searched this video cuz i was always curious of how the clouds would look from a plane. I'm curious about stars, too.. but imagine it to be the same since it's in space. Anyway, thanks for the vid :D

I'v just started flying microlights. If you want to see the clouds from above for yourself, get into that. It's a good, cheap, healthy sport, and believe me, there's a whole world out there above you you never knew existed until you've flown through it... It's beautiful up there. Like heaven, without the need to die to see it. Well, hopefully anyway.

We went over the Black Sea last summer with a B737 and it was cool. There is no big deal about it. Jet airliner crashes are very rare, in comparison with car accidents where hundreds of people dye daily in Europe

you think your getting the full experience looking at that window? try jumping out of the plane and skydiving. I can say from experience, thats when everything is truly beautiful. nothing between you and the ground except 15,000 feet of beautiful sky. The wind on your face, the smell of the air, the coolness of the air, the wind is so loud but everything is so calm. everything about it is amazing. try it sometime.

they are decsending into JFK. when pilots descend, they have to slow the airplane down. they are probably going somewhere close to 250 knots, which is around 280-290 mph

This reminds me of a flight that I was on in 2006. I was on a JetBlue flight from KEWR-KMCO (Newark, NJ-Orlando, FL). I was sitting on the right side of the aircraft. The sunset was so beautiful - I saw the whole thing from about 30,000 feet.
