I hardly think this music is diabolical , you don't need to tell god to forgive someone god will forgive them either way just as god will probably forgive you for being so damn judgemental , and btw Jesus was a Jew.
I effing LOVE Little Feat. I am going to see them Jan 19, 2011 in Orlando. My second time. I've loved them since the 1970s with Lowell but only got to see them once since his passing at an NCO club on Sembach AB, Germany. I also LOVE Pinkpop. I was stationed just a few kilometers away from Landgraaf and used to every year.

I saw the Feat maybe 2 weeks before this gig in Norfolk, VA at a Tidewater Tides Baseball Game opening for Bonnie Raitt. Robert Palmer was playing in DC around that time and came down to jam with the Feat and Bonnie's band. Just an incredible day. Tickets were $5 for the ball game AND the concert.
Amazing to think that I saw this band a few days later in Hamburg. I had seen Feat in 75, also in Hamburg, on a Warner brothers Promo tour. Feat opened the show, then Montrose (w/Hagar nad Ronnie M), Tower of Power., Bonarro, Grahm central station & the Doobie Borthers. All on the same Sunday. Feat stole the show, stole my heart, and blew my mind. Came back to Ct in time to see the Feat in New Haven 77 Awesome, somewhere in CT 78 and Springfield, MASS 78. Just amazing footage.
@teetomthomas Too quick, he is turning the volume down on the Fender amp to prevent feedback..if you look his head goes in front of the amp, his nose does'nt sniff the top..lol
saw Little Feat phase two (no Lowell) in the early 90's at Jazz Fest and danced my skinny butt off! whew! they seem to be keepin' the spirit alive even tho Lowell's gone and i love what they do.
saw them in an incredible performance/most fun show ever...in a rural bar in NJ...only to wake up and hear on the news of Lowell George's death... a giant shock and loss to music.... one of the greatest bands ever...and just so fun/down to earth...no pretentious bull...RIP Lowell.//you were a genius.we will hear you in heaven, I am sure!!

Wow, that the slimmest i've ever seen Lowell look! Such a shame this guy is not around anymore. I still recall the day he died and since then there's been irreplaceable . Thank you for this film!
Barrere fried? Rubbish. Although this performance occurred in the 1970s, it is now 2008 and guess who is going strong still and playing with Little Feat some 31 years after this appearance? Paul Barrere. Suffice it to say, MElanza, looks can be deceiving, and I believe you should have been worried about Lowell George not Paul Barrere.
Note: I've seen this band live three times. Twice in St. Louis in the 1970s and once in Colorado in 2007. It's hard to find a better band anywhere.
Spotty...you seem to be a little sensitive to a drug use reference. To dismiss Paul B. as not being lit-up in Holland - you have your head in the sand. Either that, or you are an actual twit. Also, what does Little Feat still going strong have to do with a comment about Barrere's drug use? Do you think he was sober and Lowell was the only one taking drugs back then? Most musicians made it out of their abuse period, some didn't. Clapton is a prime example. Go smoke some weed, Spotty and relax.
Will do, except I'm not about to ingest any illegal drugs. Be my guest there. Still, you're correct about the drug use and abuse that took place at those times.
Still, the people who survived their addictions, especially Clapton for example, are also doing extremely well and playing
well too. He and Steve Winwood are doing beautiful work together right now.
John Paul Jones used to play with Led Zeppellin and he plays the steel guitar among many different instruments. He's got his own career going now, and long has too.
I definitely remember reading the statement you made before, and it would not surprise me since I suspect that some English musicians would indeed have come to see Little Feat play.
Well, here I am in my 50s and I still love this band - damn they were good, until poor Lowell died - still good, but just not the same. Ken Gradney, on bass, held that band together for a long time after.
...how could he be so brilliant (surrounded by wonderful musicians) and still look as high as a kite in anything I've seen of him...?? even the Dutch must have been shocked...!!
Triped Faced Boogie is where you cut off this amazing footage? Hope dare you? This is such a breath of fresh air to hear/see Lowell Geaorge and the band in their peak.. this is where the live album comes from , this tour. Please download more for the faithful L.F. fans!! Thanks :)
