@cammarkgross The same could easily be said of barrel racing. I couldn't tell you the number of times I've gone to a meet and seen horses come out of the arena with their mouths ripped wide open. I, however, take pride in being rational and refuse to condemn an entire discipline because of the actions of a few.
I don't care how impressed a rider or the folks that encourage this practice of
exagerating the trot or walk of any 5 gaited horse, such as the TWH soring is
wrong. The first time I saw it it reminded me of a white tail doe I wittnessed being
hit by a car, The impact broke her back but she had just enough power left in her front legs to sort of trot off the road, but too late for in that instant another truck ended her life instantly.
People need to keep their ignorant opinions to themselves. Auburn University study on action devices trumps your PETA videos.
