I'd love to try this, but would appreciate more specifics on amounts of flour, yeast and salt.:) This is an older video though, so I'm not sure anyone is watching comments any longer...BTW We love Weston A. Price!
Hi there and thanks so much for your videos! I must've missed it - but could you be so kind as to give the quantity of coconut flour and baking soda you used please?
In the title of your video, you say this bread is starch free. When you list your ingrediants, you have what looks like white flour in addition to coconut flour. I am on a very strict diet for weight loss and cleansing. Basically all I'm allowed to have are fruits and veggies. No gluten, no starch, no animal products. The no gluten is easy but no starch means no potato, corn, or rice flour. I can sub eggs for an egg substitute but the white flour is a no go. Any advice or suggestions?
Ok I watched the video again and feel silly because I relaize the bowl with the flour baking powder and salt is just the coconut flour from the bag you're referring to. So in that case, this is a miracle bread and I thank you! ;)
I made two loaves. The first one i followed your/fife recipe exactly. It didn't come out like your batter, it was very thick and the loaf was small, harder.
The second one I made the batter more smooth by instinctively adding about 1/2-3/4 cup of water. This one came out great, and almost doubled in height. I think every brand of coconut flour might be different. But a word to the wise, if the batter is too thick, thin it out a bit.

Yes, how can we get the measurements? This does sound like a miracle bread,
but I don't want to have to wing it!

Can all eggwhites be used instead of whole eggs?
or can the eggs be 3 eggwhites and 3 whole eggs?

Did you soak your flour? Weston Price recommends soaking it with an acidic medium to get rid of the phytic acid.

Hi there
It rises slightly only with baking powder in the mix. No yeast - so the result is more of a cake loaf consistency rather than a bread loaf.
Really great hot out of the oven with butter/cream cheese and pickles/chutneys!
