  • Absolutly true.... I didnt realize about that untill i move from argentina to here, austin tx. I didnt believe on natural medicine, but yi mom was giving us a lot of natural food and one thing that she gived us was pills of Pollen.... Yeap... Weird taste, But it really work.... I cant find pollen pills, but local honey dose the trick... Last time i got sick was more than a year... By the way, my dad is a big fan of it, and just saw him sick 4 times in the last 20 years.......

  • what do u use to edit ur vids plz answer im starting a u tube channel u should check it out

  • @xXLinz1997Xx I use Adobe Premiere. Good luck and thanks for watching.

  • @Equip2Endure thanks alot

  • my friend told me about your video, he was super stoked to have found this video. thanks for posting. great work

  • I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, bought some locally made non-pasturized honey and since I've been using it, I feel better, my allergies are gone !

  • nectar is used to produce honey, pollen just bums a ride to pollinate the other flowers while the bees are retrieving the nectar. Pollen is used in reproduction for flowers. Honey is a rather complex substance, so this would be anecdotal at best, but there may be a compound in the honey to assist, or just some extra sugar and a placebo effect.

  • Forgot to type English lol!!!

  • I've been taking the organic flaxseed oil... It helps alot with my allergies... I recommend it to u guys!!!... Tastes horrible but it's worth it!!! Sorry for my bad, I'm still learning!! :)

  • I had very bad allergies when i lived in Missouri during may-june time. Now I finally eat local honey now that I am in kasas( similar pollens) and I will never touch allergy pills again.

  • thank you so much man I gonna give it a shot

  • It's funny because i just heard someone say that today and i went up the street and purchased some honey for me and my mom. They say that it should be in a 90miles ratios. I took a spoonful as soon as i got home and i will try this because i have tried so many other things.

  • How much do you eat? Per day? Just before my allergy season or all year long?

  • @MrSmiles51 , about 4 weeks before allergy season starts I add about a teaspoon on my toast in the morning, and a tablespoon in my hot tea in the afternoon.

    - Adam

  • @MrSmiles51 hahahahah

  • I have allergies to cats. I ate half a jar of cat dander and I feel like a new man. Now on my table I have a salt shaker, pepper shaker and cat dander shaker.

  • @Alkatraz415 lol! Great!

  • @Alkatraz415 lol how funny

  • Sounds like the poison oak thing. My mom had goats when she was a kid. They let the goats out to eat the poison oak on their property. When they were drinking the milk, they didn't get poison oak too bad. When they didn't, horrible rashes were a certainty.

  • I'm afraid this theory is wrong. Allergies are not like poisons or vaccines - a small dose can't create an immunity. I guess you feel better because your allergy is weak and because of the strong placebo effect. You must be careful - you can cause yourself an allergy to honey, which can be very unpleasant, because there's honey in many foods.

  • kaziklu If this isn't true, then how do allergy shots work? My doctor used to give me shots of the very thing I was allergic too, and I built up an immunity. Sounds like the same theory to me.

  • Hmm, i don't know how they work, i have 3 doctors in my family, i'll ask and write here if anybody's interested :) ......Yeah, i asked - here's the answer: "Yes, the shots work like that, but it's a slow process (months or more likely years) with slowly increasing micro amounts of the substance. The honey method isn't scientific and is doubtful that will work, but if you like it...." Meaning it can or can't do harm ;)

  • Cool tip!

  • @USNERDOC Thanks,

    - Adam

  • Dude, I have the absolute WORST allergies! Bad hay fever and seasonal asthma. I remember hearing something about this as a kid. These days the doctors just want to sell you a drug of some kind,(which only makes you drowsy on top of being miserable!) I am definitely gonna give this a shot! Will keep you posted. Thanks!!

  • @jeepnicc Great, I hope it helps you out! It has sure helped me out, honey is a life saver.

    - Adam

  • Honey is my absolute favorite food anyway!

second only to peanut butter .... with honey!

  • @masivatak Yeah it all about PB!

  • You forget to say, "...and remember, if you're not always prepared, you're never prepared." This was an excellent tip. Another great video! 5 stars!

  • @SeanRyanTempleton your right! What was I thinking? It was too early and I had not finished my coffee yet, lol.

    - Adam

  • I tried this before. Didnt really see any difference, but I have heard it work for others.

  • Natures cure all...When I was back east my buddy had a bee farm and eating honey on a daily basis solved my allergy issues. It really does work. Have fun and be safe.

  • Although I haven't tried it for allergies when I was in High School my choir teacher would tell us to mix honey, lemon, and tea if we had a really sore throat it works great.

  • Very interesting. Sounds plausible.

  • I can't wait to try it. Thanks for posting.
