  • wow, if i tried to do that, my camera would have been stolen on the 1st day.

  • That is very impressive, I must say. Nature is quite beautiful

  • nature = beauty

  • interesting vid

I was trying to make this comment not look like spam , and it isnt btw!

, just /watch?v=64ebFKWTlrk it's BBC - The Relentless Year, a 30 mins of time lapse etc.

    i's quite interesting too.

  • When I get big I wanna be oak tree

  • I'm pretty sure I know where this tree is ... is it in grimsby, in a corn field in Aylesby ? pleeease tell me !

  • @Dulieutwins The tree is in Illinois.

  • @mikebrown320 lol only a few thousand miles out.

  • @Dulieutwins comeon, did you actually think it was the tree you were thinking of? there a billions of trees in america

  • @Dulieutwins o so close

  • This reminds me how short life is...

  • i just stalked a tree! "/

  • That tree would make some nice furniture

  • why can't my trees do that?

  • a year happens so fast

  • Beautiful, but should have more frames, like lasting one minute.

  • I don't think that this one was amazing. You didn't get in detail.

  • Very cool!

  • Your work is amazing.

  • Those bottom branches should really be trimmed.

  • Interesting post.

  • The time lapse has a deep space between them.. I kinda wanna to see all of it but it would of been a long video

  • @iTzJuniorOT Yeah, I'm sure youtube will make an exception for that. *Rolls eyes*

  • 240p.... we meet again...

  • @Luigi591456 its cool to copy and paste other comments huh?

  • How to turn an area of disused land into woodland within 10-20 years:

find some willow trees (i did silver willow)

chop some 2-4 year old growth off

trim this years growth off (green non woody)

shove them in the ground everywhere (boggy or constantly damp soft land is best)

30-60% of them em root within 3 month

replace dead 1s with new 1s

ppl will think ur a crack pot for doing this but fuck em lol it need to be done

i did this in 1997 in rotherham UK now we have 12 ft trees

  • @neogastropoda1 when I cut willow trees when practicing miscellaneous survival skills I always shove some of the left over parts into damp soil and they do grow even small ones, your advice is very good.

  • Hey you...yeah, I mean you. If you have taken a minute to read this...God has seen you struggling with something. God says its over. A blessing is coming your way. If you believe in God sent this message on, please don't ignore it, you are being tested. God is going to fix two things (BIG) tonight in your favor. If you believe in God...drop everything and re-post it. I just did. Amen

  • @SAPER408 He took a photo in the same position for a year, not a video

  • Great video. Congrats

  • looks like the tree from shawshank redemption where andy hides his note

  • nature is amazing!!!!

  • Being an Oak tree is fun.

  • i wished i were a tree

  • AMAZING!!!

  • The FPS is just too small

  • @SAPER408 hahaha i never though of that lol maybe they took pics of it only in the day so u can see it? o.O

  • You know what they say..time flyes..when your having fun..watching a tree..for a year.

  • a year in a day!

  • TOTALLY windstill for a whole year? I think not...

  • I feel a bit creepy after watching that.. makes me feel older..

  • 1 year in 15 seconds...

  • Did it die?

  • What time of the day did you take each picture at?

  • Wow, you really know how to stand still huh?

  • I liked the part with the oak tree...

  • Yep. That was perfect.

  • thats good! how did you take the picture from the exact same place every time?

  • Nice work!!

  • Dude you're very lucky, you lived a life without year, and at the end, it doesn't seem to snow down to the ground, so it kinda grows there? :D

  • you should have recorded non stop video of it:)

  • Damn those must have been some good batteries!

  • Amazing.

  • HOLY SANTA CLAUS. Did you stay behind the camera the whole time?

  • Beautiful! I absolutely love trees.

  • Trees are beautiful.

  • why is there dislikes?

  • lovely!I found an acorn randomly in a city street[dropped by a child?] and planted it-it is now a lovely tree about 7ft tall.

  • @Oakleaf700 I love planting trees from seed :) we have lots of trees and they're all beautiful. silk tree, mulberry (female and male), chinaberry.

  • beautifully done. i've recently lost the sound in my comp. so i'm listening to my favorite cd and makeing a visual montage...i'll post if it comes out as cool as i hope.

  • That awesome!

  • way cool. I am growing a real house plant that Moves Like an animal when you Tickle It The leaves fold and even the branches droop when Tickled!

  • @sensitiveplant Wait... let me guess. Mimosa?

  • @sensitiveplant is it called a Mimosa?

  • @sensitiveplant whats the plant?

  • @sensitiveplant it is a type of mimosa...forgot the second word...huh...but i know it is a mimosa...

  • i think, this is no video, i thinnk, he made many pictures at the same view, during the year, and made a diashow with the "fade" effect

  • @TheBurnout96 thats what it looked like to me. It also says in the description.

  • wow...

  • Very good mate, I would have like to see it a little longer.

  • It goes back to the exact same picture as the beginning, not a new winter... the clouds are the same...

  • I liked the part with the tree.

  • Do the same with your face on TodayMyFace com !!

  • how did it not rain??

  • Love this

  • good!!! i think it could be better if u use more photos, but, i love the "time lapse" video... this is magic!

  • did you made one picture each day ???

    pls answer ;)

  • Hurr durr camera staying on one year herrp.

Read the description, it says it's photographs, I'm guessing he marked a certain spot and took a photo from that exact spot using a tripod, every day of the year.

  • I don't get how a camera can film that long in a year.

  • @ItsPwned lol, its not filmed silly! he maybe goes out there where his camera s at and snaps 1 shot maybe once every 5 days, then puts all the pictures together in a time lapse. so its not a video, its lots of different pictures

  • @ItsPwned it didnt.... he went out there and took a picture every month

  • @ItsPwned It's not a video camera. Don't you know what a timelapse or stop-motion is? Think of Wallace and Gromit. or Gumby. A video is really just pictures being shown at 24 times every second, so this video is just a bunch of pictures taken over the span of one year and then made into a video.

  • timelapse ?

  • Can you upload it in HD?

    Awesome!

  • wow!

  • cool :)

  • How can your camera stay on for ONE YEAR?

  • @john10752 it doesn't. The photographer goes back to the same location say, once or twice a month and takes a photo. As long as the photo is taken from exactly the same place it looks like the camera has never moved.

  • Very nice thx for your upload of this I voted thumbs up

  • thats awesome

  • Magnificent tree , well worth the effort for us to watch .

  • I wonna climb that tree so bad :)

  • That's life, ... the cyrcle of life ... somehow full of hope, somehow sad.

  • The tree was so amazed by a view he stayed for a year. Nature lives.

  • that was cool because there was a tree in the middle

  • cool video

  • wow.

  • Loved it!

  • Nature is simply stunning, the amazing sacred oak of the druids

  • Classic eternal and inspiring.

  • WOW!

  • One year in 15 second.

  • this is very nice!

    would be a nice screensaver.

  • WOW , a lot of work has going into this , 1 years worth ,but it would have been a bit better if you had taken more pictures of it over the year to make it a little slower.

But goog job on it anyway.

  • surprised no one stole your camera

  • @funnychoccookie i don't think he left it there for a whole year

  • @funnychoccookie im surprised it didn't run out of batteries ;)

  • @funnychoccookie he proble just came to the same spot and took a pik daily or weekly

  • @funnychoccookie yeah because he left it there for a year :) it's just photographs, he can take them whenever he wants

  • @funnychoccookie he took pics every like week or month not video taped it for a whole year.

  • @funnychoccookie he probably just came and took a photo every week or something. I doubt it was recording for a full year.

  • @ghidfg lol

  • @ghidfg nah, its like 1 every month or 25-30 days i think

  • @funnychoccookie LOL 420 THUMBS UP

  • @funnychoccookie Good comment, but it looks like he took like a picture a day maybe. It almost looks like there is a fade effect so that it looks like there are more frames than there really was.

  • VERY, VERY, GOOD!!!

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love creation.

  • White oak?

  • I wish it had been a bit slower. Still, great!

  • @aquariumlover1 Yeah, I agree, a little slower would be groovy. Anyway, great video...I enjoyed it very much.

  • @aquariumlover1 That's what she said.

  • Now THAT was awesome!

  • good stuff

  • You can actually see the weight of the leaves make the small branches droop downward.

  • Great! this is a good seasons' observation!
