  • Starting at 0:53 that sound effect is the same as the 3-second think music for the High-Five Challenge.

  • @gshowguy: I think he would've gotten the job had the show been based in L.A. But, since the show's based in Atlantic City (probably because it was cheaper to produce it there), they had to get an East Coast announcer.

  • Peter Marshall, as I said in my review for All Star Blitz, seems to be typecasted as far as game shows are concerned. Always getting gigs on celebrity based shows; he interacts with them well but on Yahtzee he goes a little too far and doesn't attempt to claim chemistry the had with people like Rose Marie and Paul Lynde.

This bonus round seems like two much luck and not enough skill with the way the questions go and Peter Marshall looking like he was learning the rules himself & maing some up.

  • @gamshwfan he was going to host 3rd Degree but he got screwed out of the job

  • I think I can follow this game, but the presentation is less than clear. And I recall that learning the board version of Yahtzee took me awhile too.

  • Anyone ever hit the $100,000?

  • Yes.

  • @nextbarker Yes. Watch a promo for this show that WhatsAYak uploaded and you'll find one.

  • Not-so-bad format, awful presentation. Peter Marshall was so great on Hollywood Squares, was he drunk on this? His hosting was just... too much! Though, I do like the game. It could've been so much more exciting had they gotten the right host. Gene Rayburn, perhaps? This is reminiscent enough of Match Game for him to have done a bang-up job.

  • And I think they needed a better announcer, too... Johnny Gilbert was the first thing that came to mind.

  • There is too much going on in the show, coupled with JoAnne Worley who is so obnoxious. Peter Marshall was just trying to get through the first show I think as he goes on and the format gets simplified then he'd be more at ease.

  • Being allowed two losses instead of one was a common gimmick in the 80's for shows who had trouble casting desirable contestants.

  • Something about One Loss and that first game went so fast. I guess it was because the fishermen didn't get a chance to roll the dice, or because it ended in one roll.

  • wait, why did the fishermen get to play in the next game? (i couldn't make out what peter said.)

  • See above.
