  • @dosreis30 Thank you for watching!

  • Nice video brother... Keep up the good work!!!

  • @salskyline Thanks for watching and for the positive feedback!

  • Nice vid, I hate backing inside dark buildings during the day. This back could only be funner if you had a sleeper cab with 53' van trailer and had to go in blindside the whole way. After all that fun you probably wouldn't be making a video for 4-wheelers but instead building designers, cursing the stupid and tight layout of the property. :D

  • @killer2600 Lol..Thanks

  • what kind of dust you got in ur nose dude???

  • Did you have to get out and look to get into that dark spot?

  • @sh0ckwave06 yes i had to get out and look

  • Man i would be freakin out if i had to back in there...all those obstacles in the way....nice job!!!!

  • @drewcarr1 Thank you

  • @sh0ckwave06 yes you need to get out and look!

  • City drivers are the worst. Out in the country 4-wheelers give you some space usually.

As long as you're not in any danger of hitting anybody, then I really don't give a rat's ass about how impatient a 4-wheeler is. They can wait or turn around. Fuck 'em.

Case in point: I had a very tough back-in similar to this. A woman who I was blocking kept laying on her horn. Finally I got out and told her that every time she hit that that horn it would cost her an additional minute of waiting.

  • Understand totally... The public doesn't care about truck drivers. I'm not a trucker (or at least not yet) and I already know how ignorant these regular drivers are. I'm always patient with truckers... But if I catch one fucking up I could report them... I took a recording of a trucks number and company because he changed lanes without signaling and I was just on the side of his trailer.

  • using cheap cut makes you sniff alot...try anozzitol

  • Could have did the backing up as Larry did in 1 min with my Ford Escape :-).

Just kidding. glad we have super, drivers like u my man.

    Stay up! OBTW, try benadryl.

  • @Mrtiguan09 LOl!!!

  • Great skill's!!! but you would think that this company would have thier employee's park somewhere else knowing that this a receiving/shipping dept. I am sure your not the first truck to have to back in like that!

  • @73ihcscout That's not the only company that does that and they don't mean to do it but they just have too many employees that drive to work and no real place for them to stick their cars. For the most part, the places that do this are good about keeping out of the trucks path of travel.

  • It would be nice if some of the big companies like Walmart would give a $ off coupon to the average American who would watch videos like this one and watch for a easily remembered code that would appear on the screen towards the end. We need the public to support us against the daily onslaught of new laws that cripple the industry and the middle-class that count on us to have it all there for them.

  • Wassup Bro Just wanted to say lol that I used to be one of those people you refer to in the video. All of that changed last weekend when I started my Class A CDL training. Today we worked on backing up I quickly caught on to the steering in the other direction you want the trailer to go but to do this kind of docking you just did takes skills, balls, and a little bit of FUCK IT in you system. I hope by the time I go test imat least half as good to be able to do this. Keep it up homie.

  • @ENG171INE Thank you

  • Thanks for the video - I try to give you drivers the right of way when possible. I wonder if someone ever thought of putting a hook on the front of the truck to push the trailer into the loading dock and benefit from having the steers working closer to the pivot point. You'd have to undock your van or flatbed in the street and do a quick turnaround, but i wonder if that would work. That or come up with four wheel steering. Good work driver and thanks.

  • great video. RESPECT TO THE TRUCK DRIVERES!

    its not easy at all...

  • Yeah its dust alright.

  • @pep1player LMAO

  • @ENG171INE I know you need something to keep you awake on those 12 hour drives.........

  • I love nothing more than being out on the road. Respect. Be safe out there, bro

  • If you got it, a truck brought it.

  • man i hear ya, i hate it when 4 wheelers dont give us the time and space we need

  • Good sensible words of advice. It makes me think not to be selfish when I see a truck making a difficult maneuver.

  • @gedebage Thanks..I appreciate you saying that!

  • I always have patience and respect truck drivers. Too bad most people have no real appreciation for how vital they are to our daily existence! Take care.

  • I myself am currently in trucking school and I just started range training and trying to master backing and alley docking. Not easy for a noob like me. you sir, definately have my respect. be safe out there.

  • @TheJewishredneck I appreciate your positive comment. Let me assure that it didnt happen over night for me..I was just like you..learning and nervous sometimes. What I realized is ..just like with everything else in life...It get better with experience.Just remember take your time.If your unsure of whats behind you (GOAL= get out and look)..Dont be embarrassed and you have nothing to prove to the rest of the truckers or the generel public.Your job is to handle that vehicle safely!!!

  • @bromel71 Thank you very much for the encouragement. I just started yard training this week, and Yeah it isnt easy when you are completely new at anything much less backing a 53 foot trailer. So far im not doing too badly, but as you said, nervousness and self insecurity is always a factor until you gain experience. again the encouragement and advice is appreciated. Have a very happy Thanksgiving Bro.

  • @TheJewishredneck No problem and a very Happy Thanksgiving to you also!!

  • @bromel71 well heres an update, I went to school today and was fortunate because I was only one of three students to show up. so the instructor was able to give me some one on one training, and I had a rig to myself for nearly three hours. I backed that thing about 25 times today. bottom line is I finally got it! by the end of the day i could tell immediately when the trailer begin to drift. My confidence has gone up a notch. on to the next challenge! take care my new friend. be safe.

  • @TheJewishredneck You be safe also...and I wish you much success with your new truck driving skill
