  • Just yesterday I was at erins pub with Ralph O'Brien, singing this song and many others till 6 in the morning, What an amazing voice

  • great old tune.......thanks for the upload, now time to pour a double!

  • Surely Ralph was only a boy when this was recorded....but what a powerful voice! hasn't anyone got live footage of SOE?

  • I think the banjo player sitting down is - "Little" Johnny Cameron. (1943-2002) aka John Barr. I still have his LP some place - It's called Little Johnny Cameron. Think he had 4 singles and 2 LPs.

  • John Barr is sitting in the front with the mandolin

  • ahhh .. OK. Thanks!

  • Interesting info.

I knew about Sullivan's Gypsies but I didn't know that Dermot, Fergus and Denis were once a part of Sons Of Erin.

  • Excellent video ,talented band 5 stars.

  • Thanks for the awesome upload. One of my favorite songs.

Great job by Ralph and the boys.
