  • So what do you do for a living and do you want to hire me?

  • @dostoyevesky12 Thank you for your comment. Do you have film production management skills?

  • Please pay $185 for the wheel center caps with colored crest. The car will look much better.

  • man, first class to another first class GT, I'm just a highway cop in Brazil, cant afford it, but I'm very close to make a huge gov bonds deal, if I does, I would jump to a black or brown turbo S with red or terracota interior, ($ half million here) and a DBS volante.. you see, tax in Brazil are nightmare...

  • confortable, usable? etc???

  • @DANIEL777ISRAEL The 911 is THE best in-class. Absolutely reliable and ready to go, day-after-day. I put 12,000 miles on it from July-November; just took it 2,000 from Wyoming to California

  • How do you compare the Turbo S against the F550? wich one is more fast, conforable etc???

  • @DANIEL777ISRAEL 911 is faster. the 550 still has the world speed record for sustained high speed driving by a production car: 1 hour @ 185mph average( one fuel stop). The 550's seats are probably more comfortable- but the 911's recline so you can sleep

  • @wyo550 if you're driving a turbo s you dont sleep in the car, you get out and go back to the caravan or a 6 star hotel, yes , with enough money you can get an extra star hahahah

  • @wyo550 Thats a beautiful car man, congratulations. A stupid question but whats it like fuel consumption wise

  • @SukhySs Hi. Not a bad question. I did 100 miles at 65/speed control, short bursts on the interstate at 100 and came back to town: 100 miles, 3.8gallons= 26.3mpg. On the interstate at 80-100mph average, it gets about 22mpg

  • Clear Bra? Is it a laser that zaps the bugs and stones?

  • so you can spend 170 grand on a car, but you can't buy a decent camera?

  • @BucketsProductions I did that just to annoy you. Glad it worked

  • nice

  • Awesome, and love the music. From Porcshe's website. Nice touch!

  • Man that was Awesome you almost passed an FJ cruiser!! good thing you spent all that dough!! Maybe next video you can pass a corvette on the freeway that would be awesome!

  • nice gloves

  • if its a new car, everyone loves it..when they get old? not even a wipe on the handle..haha..

  • oh dude that is sick.. great choice!!! a- to z all is great with that car... just a sun roof might add bit more joy though...

  • @kubruk It has a sunroof...so it's perfect! I just got through writing a magazine article about the experience of owning it for a season

  • Time to bring it to Evolution Motorsports :)

  • @XxHAL0xX Do they do oil changes or something? I dunno, the local GM dealer is pretty good for that stuff (although they did leave a screw out of the Ferrari's front aero tray once...duh!

  • amazing!! It's my dream to own a 911 turbo I always think how unfair the world is and why I don't have mine yet but then I remember I'm only 23 LOL. lots of time to save for one of these bad boys

  • nice choice , i got a 911 s.. ur lucky :D

  • Gorgeous car man and congratulations!

I plan on buying my dad a 911 Turbo S for his 60th birthday.

We share a 2005 F430 so I would like to know if the handling on that car exceeds Ferrari's standards; also in your honest opinion if you are happy with the car or not. We have a 2002 911 Carrera Turbo and it is incredibly reliable and can no other! My only question is it worth the 165k or am i better off buying a Nissan GTR for half the price?

Please provide me with some feedback.

    Thank you!

  • @scoopmaster69 Your questions run into each other and I don't know what you're asking or what you can afford. I'd keep the F430

  • @wyo550

Okay sorry about the unclear question(s). I wanted to know if I should buy him a Porsche 911 Turbo S, or just buy him a Nissan GTR . In other words, Is your car practical for everyday driving more so like a BMW (combination of comfort, drivability, and performance; also take into mind speed bumps) or a just a car meant for the racetrack? I can afford the Porsche no problem. I scheduled a test drive for Tuesday but wanted to know from an experienced owner if you got your money's worth.

  • ur one lucky sun of a b man what a nice beautiful car

  • You traveled 320 miles in your 550 to pick up your Porsche. Then another 320 miles to take it home. Couldn't trust any sales (delivery) for the first 320 miles joy ride. If it was my money, my Porsche, I'll do the same. Smart choice.

  • What is your job? owning 2 great cars

  • Every time you think the stupid music is gone, it comes back.

  • @MoonSha There's a mute icon on the video player, to cut the audio completely

  • And it is silver too... That is the best color on any Porsche... Awesome ride...

    Thanks for posting.

  • needs black wheels

  • GT silver is the best

  • awesome man!

one question about that back seats in the turbo.. is there enough room to fit in?

  • how does it feel when ur sitting at the stoplights and u know that u can blast anyone off the line

  • Absolutely spectacular car, what I would give to have a 997 Turbo! I wouldn't recommend using Chrome Polish on your rims, they are not bare metal but have clear coat applied at the factory and chrome polish will damage clear coat irreparably because it contains harsh chemicals and abrasives.

  • I think the new centre lock wheels in black on this colour would make it a very outstanding car. Nice car, enjoy it!

  • @UnSaintLike RS wheels were not available until September 2010 build. They need five pages of directions in owners manual, 270 foot pounds of torque and they are 500 grams heavier. I also like the Turbo II wheels, aesthetically

  • @wyo550 BTW, have you tried the launch control? 0-60?

  • Is that yours? Or you just drove it...sorry if it's a stupid question

  • @tyke570 Not stupid. Both cars are mine. I just got in the door from a two week, 3,000 mile drive to Detroit in the 911. Wow!

  • @wyo550 cool, thanks!

  • Grats, you are a very lucky man. Just seeing those hips in the rear-view is something I hope to do some day. Thanks for sharing; visit us at rubiospicecom

  • automatic tranny?

  • Does it come with the aerokit turbo? also why didn't you get the centerbolt wheels? Congratulations on the car, it's beautiful!

  • damn i want one...this is probably the best car on the road

  • @suprattkk For the money, it's in the top 5 of cars for sure. As for your question of 1/4 mile, I think 10 seconds. I don't pay much attention to 1/4mile. If I want to race, it's 50 miles at 100mph + (Sand Hills Open, etc) arriving within seconds of perfect half hour

  • @wyo550 seriously dude... this car cant be legal! it does 10.8 sec in the quarter mile man! stock! that is unheard of! that is like bugatti veyron speed! damn... what a beastly car!

p.s: on some drag strips they require cars that run 10s to have a roll cage...

  • @suprattkk my dad is tradin in his mercedes for one of these...so excited

  • love the rhims! congratulations to you

  • A real petrol (gear) head with more sense than money (but still have lots for them). Respect!

  • Oh I almost forgot.

Ditch the shitty music. I don't really care if it comes from the Porsche web site or is Beethoven.

I'd much rather hear the music coming from that sweet turbo engine any day.

  • @MaverickAtom You can hear the car's incredible sounds at my other video: Me overtaking a 2010 Turbo

  • Nice color, easy to keep clean.

It's too bad you can't get a real 6 speed manual transmission in the S, but then you would have to learn how to drive a manual.

I will have to give up the 30 extra hp and order the standard Turbo.

I've tried driving the Nissan GTR, and the paddle shifters really take away from the driving experience, give me a proper manual any day.

  • @MaverickAtom Well, I obviously have a 6spd in the Ferrari and yes, they're different experiences. On the track, the paddles are much more efficient- but there's no question that the more intimate driving experience is the manual shifter

  • @wyo550 i would take the pdk any day.

    correct choice.

    Its much faster everywhere :)

  • @dicktp And safer. Going into turn 11 at Laguna Seca and focusing on deceleration and apex- instead of heel/toe (which I'm crap at anyway) and exactly the right gear- it's not only more efficient (doing what foot and hand does in shifting) but faster.

I do get lost in my thinking, as to what gear I'm in-compared to manual- but if I'd just be more focused, that wouldn't be a problem.

  • @MaverickAtom plus with the pdk you bang launches time and time again and plus its a breeze to drive in traffic but the manual would be more fun i have a 2004 c4s 6 speed and would never get the auto but when the faster the car the easier it is to drive fast

  • This car just DESTROYED all cars in its class:

0-60 in 2.7! 1/4 mile in 10.8 @ 130mph!!! HOLY SH*T, congrats to the king of the road. Can't imagine what this thing will do with a couple upgrades.

  • Why the ridiculous music?

  • @dirttuner1999 You don't know the music is from the Porsche web site for the Turbo S? Ridiculous (ignorant) post!

  • @wyo550 I do recognize it, but overlaying it on repeat is tiresome when watching such a beautiful car. Your car is gorgeous and sounds even better, but the 5 minutes of looped internet music could be toned down for a more complimentary effect. No offense, just wanting to hear & see the car on its own!

  • dude you need a German autobahn for this beast

  • @TheSimini Sadly, all I have are the wide-open and unpopulated highways of the American west :-)

  • @wyo550

    But with speed cap :(

  • @TheSimini absolutely right ! What sense makes it to have a car like this but living in a country where you're never allowed to drive 300Km/h *loool He always has to sneak out on some wasted lonely highway hoping no HP car is around :-D He'll never know the sweet taste when overtaking lots of other cars or having some kind of informal race with a Lambo you just met on the Autobahn :-P anyway, have fun with ya new boy-toy,wyo550

  • A Turbo S with Regular Wheels instead of Center Lock Wheels??? They Should be Stock on the S! why ??? and how is that possible?

  • @luimarco RS wheels not avaiable until September 10 builds weigh 500 grams more than the Turbo II set of four and I think the T-II look better. Also You don't need a special tool to get them off with tire changes. The owner manual has five pages of instructions for the RS wheel

  • @luimarco No a customer can personalise his car the way he wants from the wheels to the color of the background of the dashes and so on and on and on..

  • i think the 918 spyder is getting much better...

  • Awesome! My only complaint is that the redline is below 7000, as you would think that flat 6 could rev to the moon after countless years of refinement.

  • damn all that money spent on that car and only 480p top resolution. shoulda got an r8 and an HD cam and 20k

  • @zhbroder

R8? lol r8 sucks compared to the porsche in terms of braking, handling, and performance

  • Comment removed

  • @Toxxic88 There is no luggage in an R8. I think it's the most useless car on the road. You can't go anywhere in it and pack luggage for the trip!

  • congratz dude! I'm a porsche lover, and the ones I love most are the 911 turbo and GTs

really hope to be able afford one of them very soon!!

    greatings from brazil

  • I have the 2010 Turbo PDK and its more than enough. im really happy with it, its my first brand new porsche.

    Really nice the Turbo S

  • im waiting for next generation 911 turbo

  • Comment removed

  • One of the finest automobiles every made. I own both a 2010 Turbo and 2011 Turbo S. I was so impressed with the Turbo with PDK in ordered the S two weeks later. Got mine at the end of June.

I would recommend the FabSpeed exhuast system without mufflers, if you get the chance. It makes for even more fun, and adds the sound back to a very quiet monster. The exhaust sound great when you get on it, and the power gains are awesome!

Pass on their cold air intake setup.

  • @rossionracer Thanks. I had aftermarket silencers on my Ferrari as part of the test and evaluation I did of cats and x-pipe prototypes for an American company and the sound was so loud it bothered me- without harmonic coupling like you get in a 575 with Tubis. When I went back to OEM (which meet Swiss noise standards) the mid range torque and acceleration went up 8-15% from the louder setup). Being new to Porsches, I'm intrigued by your saying you noticed a power gain with FabSpeed. Thanks

  • @wyo550 what's your job?

  • Great car!!! I currently have a 996 Turbo X50. Hope to get a 997 Turbo S soon.

  • i'd have it black

  • @rrpl430 I don't think black shows the turbo's scoops and inlets as well as the contrast created by the silver/black

  • wouldnt change a damn thing on that car

  • Well done my friend. I think when you consider all the aspects of owning a Hypercar, you have absolutely made the right decision. This would be the car of my dreams. One day I may have one as well. Congratulations and stay safe. In the UK on the 911 Turbo S we have different rims. We get the 19 inch spyder rims, so when I initially saw your car I thought it was a 997.2 PDK. However when the camera went to the back I noticed it was a Turbo S.

  • I wish i had his car

  • @asvestomixZ me too :D
