Remember Christians, the will of God is no Catholic, Protestant,Orthodox, Penticostal, Adventist, JW, Etc. NO DIVISION, Only Christians, holy, helping and sharing instead of buying and selling.

The Catholic Church is the Church Christ founded.

"You are Peter, and upon this Rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it", Mt 16:18. Jesus will build his Church on solid rock. He will be the 'cornerstone' Psa 118:22 and Eph 2:20-22, the 'foundation' (cornerstone) 1Cor 3:11, and the 'rock' 1Cor 10:4. The 'Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it', means, He will defend it from within and from without, against all adversaries for all time. CTC.

Well… the Novus Ordo is all kissy-face with the Orthodox schismatic, that should tell you all you need to know.

All I know is that the Novus Ordo seems more "modern" but Orthodox seems more ancient. I dont know. Who split from who? Orthodox followers claim that it was the West who split and Catholics say it was the East (Orthodox) who split. Im still unsure.

The orthodox do not believe in Matt 16:18, (primacy of Peter) but then again neither does Rome. Today, Rome is in no better position than the schismatic orthodox. In today’s world if one wants to practice their Catholic faith, it would be best not to associate with the Novus Ordo. Read Benedict XVI, “Principles of Catholic Theology (1982), pp. 198-199.

@Chichiri520 The eastern churches, such as Maronite, Ethipopian, Ukrainian, are still a part of the holy Catholic Church. Those who are part of the so called 'orthodox church' have lost their ecclesiastical authority and severed themselves from salvation. There exists both 'orthodox' (heretic/schismatic) and Catholic churches in the east, just as there are Catholic and 'christian' (protestant heresiarchys) in the west.

The New International Version of the Bible is Protestant. If you are Catholic, you should be reading a Catholic Bible such as the Douay-Rheims Bible.
