He apparently did bandage and carry or help carry Philip David out the truck ramp to an ambulence, and THEN reentered a damaged, burning building where he unlocked fire-stairwell doors up to the 39th floor. What selfless good deeds that you've been commended for have YOU done? None? We see your motivation: Envy.

starman, the issue is that Willie's tales have shifted over the years, and he's recently started backing off from some of his stronger claims--like the claim that he single-handedly rescued 15 persons, the claim that he raised $122 million, the claim that he saved hundreds.

It's poor practice for truthers to promote lies.

"Single-handedly rescued 15 persons" were words Willie featured prominently on his website, and words that activists frequently borrowed when publicizing his shows.

I don't think the "15 persons" referred to Mr. Schroeder's number. Remember, Willie never corroborated Mr. Schroeder's story.

Willie doesn't claim he saved Schroeder or any of his 12 buddies. He doesn't deny that he did, but he doesn't claim he did.

Instead he drops the claim from his website that he "single-handedly rescued 15 persons",

a claim he's had gullible Truthers repeating for years.

Willie claimed on BBC Look North and on C-Span that his key saved hundreds. He claimed on Dutch TV that he was recognized for saving hundreds. He said in the recent B&W Rosie video that he was credited with about a hundred.

John Schroeder's tale is not credible because it is not corroborated by anybody--not even Willie. Schroeder says he waved a flashlight when they were trapped in the dark. Willie never says anything about the lights going out.

If Willie wants to quest for truth he should start with himself. He should stop lying about the hundreds saved and the fifteen rescued and the collapsing floors.
