Yeah, it sucks that they translate the episodes. They should keep the original audio and just add subtitles. On the other side, I'm curious how well they speak German in the original version. It's awful that they wrote "Wissenschaft Prison", why didn't they actually ask a German instead of using Google-Translator?

And by the way, "Glatterflug" is a combination of German words. It can be translated as "Smoothflight", though Smoothflight sounds much better. No German airline would call itself Glatterflug. It just doesn't sound well. I think Fringe is an awesome show, therefore I am always wondering why they make such trivial mistakes.

Don't know if someone else pointed it already out, but "Wissenschaft" is german and means

nothin' else than "science", so "Wissenschafts Prison" is translated just into "science prison". By the way, your spelling is half way correct, actually it starts like "Wizz" (u know, like wizzing and stuff), so : "wizz-n-shuft" might be the right way of writing-it-like-it-is-supposed­-to-b-spoken!?!?

I haven't thought of that. I suppose I just thought of them as the moments in the show to lighten the mood, but perhaps they are more telling than that.

I guess I doubt they actually are related, but think it would really cool if LOST turned out to be an experiment and the connections in the show (such as oceanic air in ep 9) are too obvious to ignore. IMO.

Wrong. Some are, you're right, about 11 shows. There is also Ajira from LOST and Gatterflug from this episode. So not all are always going to be called Oceanic.
