I hope these two keep doing duets! There are plenty examples of country artists that have done multiple duets together... George Jones and Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, etc.

Why do the female country singers always have higher singing ranges than the males? Why do most of the male country singers voices sound more nasally than the female country singers. Shania twain, martina mcbride, faith hill, carrie underood, leann rimes have amazing voices. Why cant the male counterparts keep up with them successfully?

i like Adele's voice also but vocally kelly is a master. Adele being successful proves what kelly was telling her label... that she needs no circus, no burleque dancing etc. Kelly Clarksons label did not promote nor support her. Look how successful Adele is. But i am still a kelly clarkson fan.Worth every dollar and much much more.

@dcoffeegirl I also think that has something to do with the fact that Adele came out in the midst of all the dance pop and good beats with shitty overprocessed vocals. So it was kinda something different and showed vocal talent. Whereas kelly was big in an era where they had the teen divas like britney who danced and christina who sang. So it was kinda like she was stuck in the middle even with all that talent. Where as adele kinda got to forge new ground.
