First the great Robert Shaw passed away in 1978, now we lost Roy Scheider.....Out of the three all that is left is Richard Dreyfuss. It was certainly a sad day when I heard the news of Roy's passing, to all Roy Scheider/Jaws fans Id like to thank you for this video it was beautifully done.
Thanks Eddie, Roy was always my favourite male actor and he surely is sadly missed. Jaws has been a part of life since 1977 when I first watched it, aged just 4. I loved his work in the Seven Ups, French Connection and of course, Blue Thunder.
Very nice selection of images. I enjoyed Roy's work and his range. He was the personification of the gritty documentary style cop films of the seventies...Spielberg told him," I dont ever want to believe that you can kill that shark..."
Happy Birthday, Roy! You'd have been 78 today, my friend. If one can live into their seventies with your artistic achievements, it will make for an incredibly rich life, to be sure. Here's to you.
Wonderfully made! I don't know if you ever saw an earlier film of Roy called "The Seven Ups". A terribly underated film with one of the best car chase scene ever! It came after The French Connection and right before Jaws.
Beautiful. 30 odd years later how fitting is that music?. The fade on the 3 in the Jaws is a knife through the heart. What this movie has meant to me over the years cant be described but you captured what i felt when we lost Roy. I could feel the emotion welling up in my throat. Best film ever made. We love you Roy.
Great stuff man, and way to use good ol' Williams' end credit score. The black and white images, and the end fade-away shot of the famous-three portrait - excellent touch.
I only wish that in the long black screen where you hear the water that you put a "RIP, or Rest in Peace, Mr. Roy Scheider" - it would've been the icing on the cake.
All the same... beautifully done! :o)
RIP Mr. Scheider - a great actor, an amazing performance in one of the best films ever created!
Eddie, that simply rocked! I was c hoked up watching it and even at work when Roy faded out of that famous 3 pic I almost cried. Darn good job my friend.
Thanks for the kind comments, I hardly check in to read posts here (sorry). I think this was edited in Windows Movie Maker.

It's great to see someone recognize the emotional range of the film's soundtrack. The music accompanying the credits was more than fitting. Nice job.
