  • @danielacirillo214 Thank you!! :)

  • You are the best you tube diaper cake instructor I have watched! You were so clear and concise in giving your instructions! I am really impressed! Well Done!

  • Wow! thats soo kool Ima do that when my sister or friends get prego :)

  • Great video lots of help! :)

  • Great video! But what do you use to stick the diapers and the base together?

  • what diapers have no markings on them...where can I find them?

  • Im one of the people who if i get one for my baby shower im not gonna wanna take it apart. xD by the time my husband makes me do it they'll be too small for our baby

  • Thank You SO MUCH!! This was a very helpful video!! I think I can make one now for my daughter who is having a boy! I like the idea of "hot gluing" the paper towel roll to the base, because I was wondering "what would keep the diapers on the cake round!" Knowing me it would roll off before I got it into the house!! Thanks Again!!

  • wow great video thanks im gonna have to try this one!

  • thank you sooooooo much!

  • This is great! Question: What is the fuzzy stuff around the tiers of the cake? And where did you purchase it from? Thank you.

  • @MommyJones2Be2011 It's feather "boa" type ribbon. It think I purchased it from a Hobby Lobby craft store.

  • Thanks for sharing =)

  • My Sister in law got me one of these, 4 months ago when I had my baby girl. The bottom and middle tier was wrapped with blankets and the top tier had little socks and bibs made to look like roses and to top it off a blue nose bear called cuddles. Then it was cellophaned with a nice pink bow. I was so impressed, it really is a nice gift for any mum or mum to be xx

  • Thank you so much for making this video! How I know my diper cake will turn out great!

  • Thank you so much for the guidance!! One of my best friend's baby died when he was 3 months old in 2009. I was there when he was born and his godmother. She is finally healed enough to have another baby, a boy :) I'm throwing her this shower to make is extra special for her....THANK YOU!

  • Thinking about making something like this for my Fiancee sister baby shower. I think it will be fun. Thanks!

  • i love it...

  • how did you get your decoration on top of the cake to stay?

  • @carrollq21 I purchased artificial flowers and trimmed the stems down a little. Then I wiggled the stems between the diapers, being careful so they didn't puncture any diapers. It was like arranging flowers into a wedding cake. (I design and bake wedding cakes and do floral arranging on them-fun!). :) Thanks for watching my video!

  • GREAT How To/Review

    ‹(•¿•)›

  • Thank you so much for this very helpful vid! I'm always looking for different crafts to do and this is just super!

  • you can attach a paper towel roll with hot glue to your base and build from the bottom layer up to make it a little more sturdy

  • @Magdaline43062 That is such a great idea! Thanks for sharing as I'm sure it will help people with this craft. :)

  • Thank you SOOOO much for this very informative video! I'm making my first cake for my sister in law...this helped out so much!

  • hi carolyn

thanks to your video i have brought the craze of diaper cakes to england i made my first one as a gift now people are ordering them from me

  • THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME OUT AND MAKING THIS GREAT VID!!! I really appreciate it :)

  • great video you made this so much easier! Thanks♥

  • Thank you, i made a cake for one of my friends and she loved it i now have orders for the cakes as every-one loved them

  • Thank you! Your how to is the BEST!!!!!:)

  • out of al the videos yours was best . the rest do not give you step by step, they leave this out and that out. thanks to your video my first diaper cake was really pretty that was 3 months ago im now working on my 2nd one, and after i find out the sex of my granbaby on the 19th i will be on my 3rd one. thanks for making it so easy for us that dont have a artistic bone in our body

  • How do you get the cake to stay on the cake base?

  • @Thedawnmarie00 I didn't put anything on it to keep it stuck to the board as I was the one handling the cake. Try using clear cellophane (like fruit basket wrapping) and wrap the whole thing up to keep it together. Just don't use glue because the diapers will be ruined. I hope this helps!

  • @Thedawnmarie00 It's also a great idea (and super cute) to use white tulle material too! Either ones looks great~

    ‹(•¿•)›

  • Brilliant thank you for that :D

  • Wonderful video! Made my first diaper cake ever and it was easy to do so after following your instructions step by step

  • I sell diapercakes and needed a better way of assembling them, since I've watched your vid, my cakes look so much better, thanks for the tips!

    check them out!

"A Few Moore Moments" on facebook!

  • your video was excellent..i made my first one a few weeks ago, and a friend of mine wanted to learn how, so i sent her a link to your video..you.are.awesome.

  • @cherrytea35 Thanks so much!

  • @milagros711 If the toys are small, they can be tucked into the layers. I wouldn't use double sided tape if you plan on the mother being able to use the diapers when she takes the cake apart. I hope this helps! :)

  • Thank you so much for the tutorial i love it! I just have one question how do you attach everything to the cake like the stuffed animals and things like that. Also for the ribbon can you use double sided sticky tape, thank you.

  • instead of rubber bands can u just use tape?

  • @gothbunny61294 I guess you can use tape if you don't want the mother to be able to use the diapers when she takes the cake apart. Tape might rip the diapers if you use it in lieu of the rubber bands.

  • Thank you for your very good instructions. I was able to watch from beginning to end. Thank you, I now have more confidence with this.

  • I'm not what you call a crafty person, but I'm doing a baby shower for my sister who is expecting her first child. She's also my best friend, so I'm really trying to do a good job. Anyway, I just happened to pick your video to show how to make a diaper cake and I'm glad I did! You make me think even I could do it! Thank you so much for putting this out there! I'll be checking out your other videos for sure. Maybe there are other things I can do?!

  • Thanks for the great video. I plan on making a diaper cake today.

  • I made my diaper cake last night thanks to your video! I loooooove it!!!! I took out some diapers and put blankets, bottles, and bibs in there. I also put pacifiers and teething rings around the ribbon... it turned out great thank you!!!!

  • awesome video; thanks for sharing and giving the tip on the ribbon!!! I love being creative and its preggo month in my family so I will be trying to make some of these within the next few months or so!!! Thanks so much; got to subscribe!!!

  • thank you for the intructions so much .you made it look so easy! ? did you change it at the end ? it looked diffrent at the end after the credits?

  • @slick176 I just filmed it completely decorated for the end of the film. It was the same cake. I wanted to show me decorating it but the video would have been too long. :) Thanks for watching my video!

  • I make diapercakes, too, and you do have the best how to on the web that I have seen.

  • Carolyn, you have made one of the best diaper cake videos that I have found. I actually learned how to make my own from this vided. I am even in the process of starting my own diaper cake business. Thank you for sharing with us.

  • @lakwandre Thank you so much! Wising you all the best in starting your business! :)

  • Thanksz. What Diapersz Did You Use ? Size & Brand [:

  • @Bonbon408 I used Target brand diapers, size 2

  • can you teach how to make a tricycle diaper?????????

  • I WANNA US A BABY FORMULA CAN AT THA TOP WHAT CAN I USE 2 MAKE IT STAY?

  • @Bonbon408 The only thing I can think of right now is to roll up some diapers and put them around the can to hide it. Then put a rubber band around it all to keep it secure. It should then look like a round diaper cake layer. Then, put it on top of your other layers and wiggle the wooden dowels through the spaces that are between the diapers and the can, as I did with my regular top layer in the video. Any other viewers of this video have any ideas? :)

  • i love this! i am trying to study these diaper cakes so i can make one for my sister! i can't wait, but her baby shower isn't for awhile...i'm just trying to get in the spirit. haha!

  • You said wooden dowels that sit between the cake layers? how do you get the cake to stay on the cake plate or stand.....you use doubled sided tape or what? I have animals and things like that at the top of my cakes and they are okay for a while then they start falling to the side a little bit..what do you suggest?

  • @07stringbean I didn't put anything on my cake to keep it stuck to the board as I was the one handling it. Maybe try using clear cellophane (like fruit basket wrapping) and wrap the whole thing up to keep it together. You could use double sided tape (just a little so as many diapers as possible will still be usuable) on the bottom layer to keep it slipping off the board. Some people wiggle the animals in between some of the diapers, as they are soft and pliable. I hope this helps! :)

  • @07stringbean I just made one for my sister and for the base I bought a plastic patio-set serving tray from Walmart for under $5. It worked great because the lip of the tray held the bottom layer of rolled diapers and there are handles on the tray that made it easier to carry.

  • I was wondering how you keep the layers together?

  • @07stringbean The wooden dowels keep the layers together. Thanks for watching my video! :)

  • I really like your baby diaper cake. I was wondering how many diapers does each tier have.

  • @theresa558 There are 40 in the bottom layer, 19 in the middle layer, and 8 in the top layer. Thanks for watching my video! :)

  • @carolynjbraden thanks. =D

  • nice video! just a little tip: when i made mine, i put baby bottles in the center to put the diapers around...then put the wooden thing next to the bottles to hold it sturdy. just a cute little idea so that when mom does take it apart, she gets a little surprize!

  • @cassiymarie I've seen people make the cakes with the bottles in the middle. There are so many great ways to change up this project! Thanks for watching my video! :)

  • so nice~!!! i will make it for my work BOSS:)

thank u so much! i will try it!!

  • that´s great!!!!

  • Thank you!! :)

  • Thx. I like how well you explained it. It was very simple to follow.

  • You seem really nice I hope your career goes far! Thanks for the tips

  • excellent song for the ending!! =]

  • It is very nice wow

  • do u sell your cakes?

  • No, I do not sell any cakes yet. I just make them for family and friends until my Carolyn Braden's TOIE takes off. :)

  • I would do the same cake that I did in the video. Then for the bottom tier, do the same amount of diapers as in the largest tier, then put one more round of diapers around it.

  • Thank you for this video I love this video i learned how to do a diper cake and i tought my mom how to make it i am 10 years old.

  • Great!!! Keep being creative! :)

  • i love your tutorial, clear as water. Can i put double sided tape to hold the cake to the cardboard? Thanks a lot!!

  • It may work. But it may work so much that it may stick to the board too much and may put holes in the diapers. Try experimenting with it first. :)

  • You are welcome. In the works now.....a how to video showing how to make baby sock roses!

  • Thank you for making this video its helped me so much!

  • Thank you, that makes it seem so simple!!!!

  • thank u

  • go to madpuppeteers' page

  • THNKS SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!

  • GREAT VIDEO!! So easy to do! Just have one question, after you put the long sticks in to hold the 3 layers together, what should i put on the round board itself to hold the bigger cake (the cake base) from sliding off the board? I cant figure that one out!

    Thanks a bunch!

  • I didn't put anything on it to keep it stuck to the board as I was the one handling the cake. Try using clear cellophane (like fruit basket wrapping) and wrap the whole thing up to keep it together. Just don't use glue because the diapers will be ruined. I hope this helps!

  • I have tried using Grease Proof Lace Look Doilies. It also adds flair!

  • wow now i know what to get my sister for her baby shower

    THANKS

  • i enjoyed watching your video. i'm starting on my diaper cake tomorrow!! =)

  • Love - love your video. Your easy to follow and listen to. Hope to see many more how to's from you! By the way my diper cake came out sooo good.

  • wow this cake tutorial was so great.u explain it step by step.thaxs im makin one for my sister in law now !

  • You had the easiest video to follow:) I was wondering if you by chance know how to make the diaper cup cakes, square diaper cakes, and the sock and wash rag roses ? could you help me? Thanks

  • Diaper cupcakes are easy...make the top or middle tier only of the baby diaper cake, put a ribbon around it, tuck some crinkle paper shreds in the top and it's a diaper cupcake!! The roses are a little more difficult. I've made them before but they are hard to explain in type. I'd have to make a video on how to do that. Maybe that's another video idea....:)

  • Thanks for the info on the cup cakes, Sorry about the user name here this is my sons you tube thing. by chance have you done the square diaper cakes that turn out to be a castle?

  • Oh wow. thats really kewl. I'm helping out oh my sisters baby shower and now i really NEED to make this. lol.

  • Whoops! Seems my son, TyTyger, was signed into YouTube (been on my laptop, tsk tsk) so I left you a comment under his ID. You're still adorable and enjoyable and I've watched a LOT of how to diaper cake videos tonight. Ugh!

  • Thank you clear and fun.

  • Great job!! you are so explicit on indications. I found another video but it did not give as many details as you did, LOVE IT, Thank you.......

  • I was looking into making these, and yours is the first tutorial I found. I have to say, after seeing most of the others-yours is by far the easiest to understand and follow, and most accessible- you make it seem so easy and you're very informative. I love the work you did with that cake and wanted to give you kudos on a great tutorial. I will also definitely be checking out your website to see what other creative projects you have. Thanks so much- your tutorial really helped me!

  • That was a great tutorial! Thanks very much for the info but there is just one thing that I was wondering. Can you tell us about how much it costs to make one of these cakes? Thanks again.

  • My cake was about $30.00. You can make them as cheap or as expensive as you want, depending on the cost of the diapers and decor you buy. The bigger and more decorated you make it, the more expensive it will be. Thanks for watching my video!

  • great explanation!! I know that I can do this now..thanks carolyn

  • That was great Thanks!!!!

  • I may try this sometme! Great instructions!

Your dog is cute by the way :)

  • I made one with your instructions, everybody went crazy over it! thanks much.

  • I agree with the comment before me you do very well on camera and so easy to follow. Saw these cakes at a craft show and knew I could do one. Am saving this video for my niece's shower next month - it should be the hit of the day !

  • great ... saw these cakes and was tempted to buy one but don't need to now!! the only thing I was wondering after seeing the video was the cost of the materials as compared to buying one pre made..but thanks a lot..you need your own show..very good on camera!

  • the dog is too cute! lol
