I cant decide on the blackstar HT5 or The Blackheart Handsome Devil!! uggg, the blackstar is a little cheaper, less watts but seems to have more features..

@Chicostrat go with the blackstar...... the handsome devil is ok...... but thats it. its just ok. the blackstar in my opinion is more versatile, way more features as well . I had bought a jet city and man that was a huge mistake. My local sales guy and warned my about jet city and I found out the hard way.That amp wasn't horrible it I just couldn't use it for what I play. He swears by these amps(blackstar) and he gave me a great deal. I couldn't be happier. My gold top loves it too

Oui je pense que tu peux faire sans problème du metallica avec le HT5. L'ampli est très versatile et dispose de pas mal de gain je trouve.

Have you played a Marshall Class 5(watts)? I need a tube amp to play in my bedroom, and I don't want to sacrifice tone because of the volume. The blackstar I prefer because it has two channels, headphone output, gain knob and master volume, and from what I hear is good for bedroom playing while not being too loud. But on the other hand, the Marshall Class 5 has one channel and no master volume, and the great overdirve tone has to be pretty loud to get the sound, and I hear its tone is better.

@jsycorp Unless you dime it, no it's not too loud. No reverb but it does have an fx loop, I stuck a reverb in there on mine, sounds great! Yeah it has a headphone jack and the choice of cab simulations for headphones. The video says it's a Digidelay

No, given that they both have the same speaker and same size cab. Both are 10" Celestions. If you have two cabs though, that's a different story.

ah d'accord, merci et tu pourrais faire une estimation du genre ce 5W lampes il équivaut combien en transistor ? perso je peux mettre 7.5W a fond mais bon je sais pas trop c'est quoi... vu que c'est un ampli à modélisation Vox :perdu:.. dsl du dérangement mais il me faut vraiment un nouveau ampli :)

Honnêtement, je ne pourrais pas faire d'estimation mais je peux te dire qu'il peux envoyer fort (attention les voisins) si tu pousse le master. L'une des particularités de cet ampli est que justement il un master très efficace, ce qui fait que tu peux avoir un très bon son a bas volume.

Salut, ben non justement , ca été enregistré à volume modéré entre 2 et 3 (sur 10) . Le master volume est vraiment efficace et tu peux avoir un son plus que correct à très bas volume.

The sounf of ht 5 is stilled marshall, messa. The superchamp is better for clean sound. The master volume is very effective.
