You know, you could have used some of the small ships, they can be distraction. Its like your a human bee, and you luanch all your troops to kill someone you hate. The little bees are the smallers ships.
ok, the bsg could beat pegasus if it could stay on top. if you look at the gun placements on the pegasus you will notice most of the gun are along the side of the ship facing down. there fore if galactica stay on top, it wont receive that much damage.
@TrolloftheTube Ahaha yes. In all honesty of course the Pegasus would outmatch the BSG. But it would never win the fight and the show name change to Battlestar Pegasus. xD
@TrolloftheTube Pegasus had better firepower, yes, but the galactica was much harder nut to crack, just remember how Pegasus got open "wounds" when they were fighting the 2 basestars while galactica shrugged most of the damage dealt to it over the whole series without such incident exept when her own raptors jumped from her hangar. Also the Pegasus blew up when it rammed the basestar but Galactica rammed the colony a was able to make one more jump after that. It would be a very close battle.
@ajtakpetr consider though pegasus had several MSU to run up to flank speed where glalactica only had half a km on top of the fact that galactica was not built to spec i think it would come out on top in a fight
@ajtakpetr Good point I hadn't considered. Galactica was presumably designed to withstand bombardment via its armour whereas Pegasus had ECMs to combat Cylon missile attacks.

the ship designs are good but there is no weapons on them. Where are the orbital cannons of bsg for example? They are just explosions..

@BSG062 it would be a fierce battle, but without some sacrifices from the civilian fleet, the galactica would probably loose in the end, sadly
