Man...good story...I'm happy for you. I have a 71 Chevelle SS, but it is a clone. I still love it though. Red with black stripes, suped up 350 with side pipes...sounds awsome! I really enjoy driving it. I get lots of thumbs up, waves, comments...a lot of fun for sure. I'm 58, but a teenager at heart! Love my cars!

beautiful car man , my '71 is bronze with black stripes a 1966 427 (out of an Impala SS) under the hood with a 4 speed , 12 bolt with 3:73's , black interior , not an SS , but still a good looking car , I've got the SS hood , not the cowl induction . That will be my next purchase .

@paddywagons104 Thanks for your comment on my Chevelle . I appreciate it. The cowl door does open....you can see it if you look closely. The height needs to be adjusted as it sits 1/4" too low in the hood. As a result, when it opens it is not as high as normal.

I think this is one beautiful 1971 Chevelle. It sounds fantastic and I think that a a lot of care is taken with this car. The color is great and I enjoy that this is a MANUAL transmission muscle car, nothing turns me off more than a nice big block bolted to a slush box. 5 out of 5 stars!
