completed this today and definitely my favourite final fantasy, purely because i loved the characters so much. not sure why, i just got into it a lot more than the other final fantasy's. i loved 7 and 8, and 10 was good too, but i think i prefer this one because it was a harder game, making it more fun, which made me get more involved in the story i guess

This boss was a pain in my ass.....my characters were at there max in thier main roles in the crystarium and it still took me like ten tries to kill this bosses first form but the second form was easy.....and seeing how everyone else is doing it....my favorite character was Hope....mostly cuz i prefer using magic attacks to just slicing and dicing things to death.

@y0l3itches It's not CG because it uses the same graphics from the game, also, I KNOW it's from Japan, because I bought it from Japan when it first released, rather than waiting like the other idiots. Also, even if it WAS cinematic, it is NOT an anime, duhhh, it should be obvious because of the way they look, you can't even decipher the difference between anime and real-like-stye. Also, anything animated IS NOT considered anime, anime is a specific design of artwork. You failed at acting smart..

@Hakakuno Sorry to inform you but, because the cinematic graphics are similar to gameplay, does not make them different, they are still considered CG (computer graphics) How else would this cinematic movie was made? As for anime, anime is not limited to only japanese cartoons, it has been said, anything cartoon animated related is considered anime such as mickey mouse. There has also been movies like advent children being called anime.

You know whats great in FFXIII? It doesnt rely entirely in a love story like FFX - which focus entirely in tidus/yuna. Theres A LOT of character development in FFXIII.

I just wished that the ending was longer, I like "prologues".

Oh yeah and it doesnt have all that "its all a dream, im gonna die", "lets dance on the water my love" bullshit from FFX.

@3bbo0ody506 Vanille never died. All she did was become (Ragnorak i think? Confused at that part) with Fang and saved Cocoon. They both are in a crystal status at that part. At least that's how I found it. I'm not a big FF fan going into details and sorts.

@Missy3737 Yea, I gotta be completely honest. this is probably one of the greatest Final Fantasy game I've ever played in terms of story and gameplay. Even though it lacked the hype or some people would say that this Final Fantasy is different than others, but it's still has it's own lore and character development, and Plot turns out really great once you progress near the end. Thank you Square Enix for making a really good game like this!
