Can anyone explain why there is 8-bit RPG graphics in the game? How does it pertain to the story? I'm not saying it's bad or anything - it just looks out of place.

@RelVleDy It is in the game because the game is about a haunted video game. The 8-bit RPG graphics are there to let you know you are playing the game in the game. They actually are important to the game though. No spoilers here, but if you want them, watch GhostCarLP's Let's Play. There are 36-37 videos and the game is really interesting.

Quite possibly the scariest game i have ever played t definitely is...Bravo to Square Enix...the environment itself is terrifying and once u start to meet ghosts u have to put it down and take a breather and start again and it really is a beautiful game if u have a rom card download it or if u want to import it like i did please do so u will not be dissapinted and to those who do get it good luck sleeping...XD

@Cazxiro Yea, but I have to worry if there's some freaky exception the ESRB has against death threats. If the game is seriously making a death threat - no matter how silly - then that might even extend beyond a mature rating.

I still don't even know if the game does make the death threat though. No one answered the question :). Just comes to show how little we know about the game. Oh well, it doesn't matter. With the Nintendo 3DS, this game wont see the light of day, unfortunately.

You see, when you play the game, you find a Nintendo DS on the floor while you're in the game. YOu pick up that DS and it has a game in it. The 8bit rpg you see in this trailer is that game, and you must finish it in 7days or you'll die.
