@SailAwayMax But it's actual sign language. 3 of the actors on that show are actually deaf or hearing impaired (Katie McLerc, Sean Berdy, and Marlee Matlin) and one other is also fluent in ASL (Constance Marie). This makes your argument invalid since the sign language is legit.

It has opened his world to something new - he now desires to learn and help deaf ones by translating for them at "parties and museums". A lot of the time they don't have much to do with each other at all. Thanks for trying, lady, but I'm going to stick with my original course materials and look for supplements elsewhere.

@bluoggie No. It's not. This lady does not know American Sign Language at all. She looked up some signs out of a book and most of them she does incorrectly. Making a video of random (incorrect) signs is definitely not what American Sign Language is all about. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

@jdoonan702 Actually, this is NOT correct. ASL does not have most of the words using the first letter of the alphabet. You're thinking of SEE. ASL is a language, SEE is not. Please don't confuse people with the two because they are not the same thing. As someone who has worked with the Deaf, you should know that.
