Glue traps are a wonderful tool. As an alternative, you could get a live trap wire cage and put hardware clothe on it so they can't get out. Then set the trap and rodent on top of an ant pile and let nature take hold. What is the problem? We can't capture parrots, but we can mice and rats?? They are just trying to survive. God put us down here to be higher authority than animals. Kill them all and let god sort them out. Glue traps rule!!!

what you do is you get a stick a big bowl,dog food,cereal,and aother little crumbs but the stick you get has to be small and set it up at what ever time the mice come out and then once they are in the bowl after a few sec. pull the string as hard as you can and it will fall fast

yea snap traps r messy >_> and if u mess up in setting it up then u have a badly bruised finger... and really they arnt very reliable at least not in my experience

yeah, i ended up putting one snap trap out and it got a mouse on the tail and then he ran around the apt with the trap attached. i had to catch him and free his tail. then i felt so bad i gave him some peanut butter and let him go. lol! well, at least i don't have the mice anymore.

this video is over a year old. it was when i was fucking fat as hell. ugh. i filmed it all w/ my $5 webcam! lol! i love how jasper runs on the floor after me as i'm crawling around. i didn't even know he did that until after i was done and editing it and i started CRACKING up!

(I used a big humane trap in our garage this Spring, caught two and they got a new home in the woods! Managed to get a video on one, if you want to see what that trap looks like.)

i am glad they're gone too. that video was from over a year ago. i can't tell you how stressful it got towards the end because there were just too many and i couldn't sleep. I got so frustrated, I used a snap trap and then was so traumatized by it, I never used it again. I'm just glad they're gone. I saw your vid and those are the traps they use at Foster Parrots. :)

If anyone else happens to have a problem with mice, try this: Melt a little peanut butter and pour it into a plastic soda bottle(or drop a pieace of taffy or other sweet candy inside), then prop it up at an angle on the floor using something like an old towel or shirt(so the mice can easily get to the bottle opening).

They'll crawl in to get at the peanut butter(or sweets) and won't be able to climb back out on their own.

If ur serious, I don't think cat will do, they r overated. Ur into flying animals, try an Owl, they definitely feed on mice.....but then you only have a few mice left, u'll have to breed more to feed it...lol...

lol! I have the same in my place at the moment, thing is I freaked the first time I saw it but now I've adopted it...I've called it Barry and see it from time to time sniffing around and looking cute. Have you tried peanut butter instead? Apparently they go nuts (no pun was harmed) for it.

You can get a non lethal mouse traps too.

i have those traps but i just release one and another comes in to fill it's place. i have like 5 mice. if it was one, i'd be ok with it but it's gotten out of control and i keep the place immaculate. it's really frustrating at this point.

I for one am glad you're not using glue traps. Thankyou for appreciating that these animals can suffer too, and thankyou that you're not one of those heartless souls who would use them and just throw the animal into the bin, alive, where it starves to death. Glue traps should be banned!

I agree- they should be banned. I don't use poison or snap-traps either. I have a humane trap and the ultrasonic sound repellers. That seems to be helping. I know this is gross, but I'm going to get some cardboard w/ cat urine on it and put it behind the cabinets. Hopefully that'll work.

a) i can't bc my birds walk on the floor, b) i have a humane trap and trap one every day and release it- there is an endless supply of them, c) i can't plug the hole where they are coming in from since it's behind the sink and they actually chewed thru the wall.
